    Imagine booking a dream holiday to Kuramathi Village, looking so forward to going, then two days before leaving getting a call from your travel agent to be told the restaurant you were due to eat in had just been knocked down and that you were to eat in the coffee shop instead.

    We have just returned from an excellent holiday on Kuramathi Island. We stayed at the Kuramathi Village on an all inclusive basis. This is rated as a three star resort and I think that is an accurate rating. Service was good and the staff friendly but occasionally slightly chaotic.

    Value for money was excellent, Kuramathi Tourist Island was lovely service was really good. They even have a jewelery shop. The owners nephew knew everything about stones, they had the best coloured loose and mounted stones my favorite place on the Island.

    It was an overall pleasure to stay on this island. The customer service from the hotel as well as the rooms, restaurant and bar was excellent. The snorkeling was also very good. Each room (chalet) had air conditioning, where as I've heard that some islands don't have air-con!
