“delivery missing 3months and still waiting”

my delivery went missing 3months ago and littlewoods have done nothing about it, they have seen I have not signed for anything and still refused to help the only thing they have done inregards to the case is to send me dept collection letters. I ordered an item on buy now pay later. I set up direct debit and they collected initial payment and stopped. I found out later it was down to me to make sure i make full payment otherwise i pay them interest. So i arranged standing order for them. Then i made further purchase. Hi,

The terms and conditions for our Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) option does state that the cash price of the item must be paid in full before the item is charged to the account otherwise you will incur deferred interest.
No payments are requested for items on BNPL until they are charged to the account so they would not be included in any minimum payments taken via Direct Debit. You would have to make a seperate payment to the account which you can then allocate directly to the items on BNPL. Information on how to do this is displayed on our website and on each statement you receive.

“Extended service plan”

You should be able to cancel any service plan/insurance/guarantee that you have with us.

We're sorry that your ordering did not go smoothly.

Our contact centre staff are not given promotional codes, these are targeted by our marketing team. Our contaqct centre staff can only input a code that a customer has quoted. However, if this doesn't work then they should be able to check the Terms and Conditions of the code and let the customer know if the qualify or not.

As the order is your first order and we don't have a trading history with you, then we sometimes need further information or an initial payment. Our Authorisations team can advise further with this type of query.

“Item went in sale day after purchase”

I ordered boots that cost me nearly £200, two days later they arrived. When checking the site the very next day I noticed the boots I had ordered were £60 cheaper. After doing research I learnt you could reclaim the money back within a time frame. We do have a policy that any orders are charged at the price that was agreed at the point of order. If an order is placed before a sale, and then the price of the item drops, then we do not reduce the price to match the sale price - similarly we do not raise the price if our selling price increases after the order is placed.
We have this policy to ensure that our customers are treated fairly.

If you wish to re-order at the lower price then you can do so via our website and return the original order to us for credit.

Your missing the point, many times I have purchased things from your website for them to go in sale a few days later of which I did not loose sleep over. The case for me here is I hadn't even recieved the boots an they were reduced massively, if they had been only reduced by say £30 I'd not of followed this up and kept them, however £60 is ridiculous.

“I stayed in all day, canceled plans & nothing came!”

I ordered a overhead storage unit just a little over 3weeks ago, they gave me a date which it would arrive on. 29:10:2012 is the day they said it would be delivered to my home, between the times from 7am to 7:30pm is when my package would arrive. “Ridiculously high payments!!”

I have a catalogue with both Littlewoods and Very (owned by the same company) I owe £760 to Littlewoods and £620 to Very. My minimum payment to Very is £5.00 a month. My minimum payment to Littlewoods is £156.00! My minimum payment was £112.00 a month then with the addition of an £80 rug, it jumped up to £156.00! It is completely outrageous! We are very sorry to hear that you are not happy with the way the minimum payment for your Littlewoods account is calculated.
As per our terms and conditions your minimum payment is based on the payment terms you chose for the items you have ordered.
You can order over 20 or 52 week payment terms which are interest free or 104 and 156 weeks which are both interest bearing.
Ordering over 20 weeks means that the payments each month are higher but the item is paid off quicker whereas ordering over a longer term, such as 104 weeks, means that the monthly payments are lower but the item will take longer to clear from your balance.
With your Very account the minimum payment requested each month is 7% of your current balance or £5.00 whichever is greater.

With my first order - which was large due to moving house and ordering lots - I selected the longer payment terms but my order was rejected because the longer payment terms meant I would go over my credit limit because the interest price was automatically included, so I had no choice but to select 20 weeks - how is that fair? You left me with no choice!!!!

My Littlwoods account is ridiculous! My minimum payment is £170.00 maybe more! i owe about £850.00. I could not afford that payment i rang up to explain this. Now you are asking for £295.00 as a minimum payment. Why are the payments so high? All my other accounts are no more than £40.00 a month and i owe them more than littlewoods. I have an account with woolworths, very, simply be and fashion world. I have only had these stupid problems with littlewoods. I want it sorted. I want my payments reducing ASAP! I cannot wait to get shut of this account.

“REWARDS SCAM”

Can't state enough how much of a scam this book is. Read the terms and conditions of your rewards. For every item you buy on your rewards and return if not suitable they credit you the amount back twice but then charge you either 20weeks or 52weeks for one of the credits. We're sorry to hear that you are not happy with how our Rewards scheme is calculated.

Your Rewards would be applied to your item either in full or partially with the remaining cost of your order being charged to your account. Should you then return the item we would issue a credit to clear the item balance from your account and then debit your account for the amount of the Rewards which would then be eligible to use again on a future order. This is done to ensure your account balances - for example if you purchased an item for £1.00 as below:

Item charged to account - Debit Balance of £1.00
Rewards used as payment - Credit applied for £1.00 equals £0.00 balance
Item subsequently returned - Item credited for £1.00 so account in credit by £1.00
Rewards returned to you for future use - account debited by £1.00 to equal £0.00 while Rewards balance returns to £1.00 for future use.

“Scamming money grabbers.”

I am the same, three times been out to repair my sofa which is not even six months old, still not fixed so am awaiting an uplift and full refund, they will send me a cheque once they have received the sofa which can take around 5-10 days then that will need to go into my bank to clear another 5 days, in the meantime l am left nearly 3 weeks with nothing to sit on until l get my funds to go and buy a new one from a store which can take around 6 weeks, l am so angry with littlewoods as l have been a customer with them for years, not even received an apology or an offer of a good will gesture, appalling!

This is not about a single bad experience but rather several over a long period of time.

I stand by my comments - I trust the labels of the clothes I buy, I trust that they will not develop defects a few weeks down the line. I do not trust those who supply your furniture and experience tells me that when problems do arise your team will do nothing to help.

As stated before - buy clothes aplenty (only well known labels though) DO NOT buy furniture or expect any aftercare "service'!
