Generally I agree with many of the previous reviewers about the Eset NOD32. PC World has recently conducted a comparative review of several popular virus protection apps. NOD32 (94%) was worse than Norton or Mcafee (99%) as far as malware protection performance. NOD32 does however have the smallest ...

Here's my take on the Eset NOD32. It's very odd that so many users say 'good' 'terrific' 'best AV' but decline to name specifically what it is that is so good. My understanding is that these users are impressed with the hype and VB Bulletin Awards and know absolutely nothing else about this software ...

Like other reviewers here for the Eset NOD32, I have used quite a few different AV Scanners/Cleaners over the years (ever since Uncle Sam gave me a 286MHz machine to work with in 1987)....
When I bought my first PC, a 386DX I believe it was McAfee that caught my attention and then they seemed to go ...

I have had McAfree (garbage), Norton AV Pro, and AVG but the Eset NOD32 by far beats them all. While Norton would detected anything I came across, it would do that at an expense. At the expense of system resources. Norton would also slow my system down terribly. This machine has multiple processors ...

I have tried many other antivirus softwares, including Norton antivirus 2005, Mcafee Virusscan 8.0, Bitdefender Pro, PC-Cillin, Panda, etc. I finally choose NOD32 2.0 because of its high detection rate, high speed and low memory usage, despite its user interface is not as beautiful and easy to under ...

So far it is the only AV. I have used that caught Trojans in downloads using the Firefox Browser.
It maybe the best av out here. But, Eset needs to make it function as a sole program. Its just cryptic and not laid out well.

Eset NOD32 is a good scanner that will catch many viruses. Several features are not implemented that you would expect, given the limited feature set compared to other full featured packages. The UI is horrendous and don't let anyone tell you differently, everything from layout to reports to non-intu ...

NOD32 offers several levels of superior detection and protection from viruses, spyware, adware, dialer,... It has superb heuristic scanning abilities for detecting unknown wild viruses and potentially dangerous applications that are compressed or protected.

The scanning time are very very FAST, i ...

Out of every AV I have ever used, this one takes the cake. There's no comparison between NOD32 and the "other" AV software out there (Norton, McAfee, Panda, AVG, or PC-Cillan).

I have used norton anti virus 2002>2003>2004,Pc-Cillin 2003 and McAfee. All of em have worked well but Eset NOD32 is BETTER! Never heard of this software before and tried it for the 1st time and gonna stick to it forever! You can still use your computer while doing the scan with no problem because i ...
