Purchased this 760 pumpmaster for my son. I've shot it myself, and we both think it's a good little airgun. He's pretty good with it hitting a coke can at 30 yards on most shots not bad at all for a smoothbore. I like the little gun and would recommend it as a first gun… Read Full Review

I got my Crosman 760 PumpMaster at Walmart for like 29 bucks so it was affordable. Great gift for kids. I liked how accurate it is and if you only pump it ten times it will last a long time. I LOVE IT. GET IT NOW!… Read Full Review

I normally use my Gamo Nitro 17 in the back yard to shoot around but today I though I'm gonna go buy a rifle thats just for plinking so I went to walmart and bought this Crosman Pumpmaster 760 for around $25. I was expecting it to be a 10 yard gun but it wowed me...I can shoot cans all day long at 35 yards and hit them every time without a scope on the rifle, and I'm sure if you put one on you can reach further out. Hunting wise it's ok, I wouldn't really try for anything bigger than a squirrel… Read Full Review

I had a Crosman 760 Pumpmaster for over 7 years. I just can't believe the accuracy and price for this gun. It is so cheap and you can kill small pests, and birds with this gun. This gun is a good beginner gun and a good pest control gun… Read Full Review

This is the best gun I've had! I highly recommend this gun the accuracy is perfect i mean you can really shoot targets that are really small because with a scope the accuracy gets really poor!! But maybe up to like 100 ft and a little more its perfect..

I drops birds in just one shot i have dropped many many many sparrows in my back yard from like 10 -15 yards away and they drop dead!!

Today, I killed 2 sparrows with just one shot! I pumped it 12 times and shot at them as they drank water and… Read Full Review

Written on: 26/03/2007 by thelongrun22 (2 reviews written)

When I first got this gun, i was suprised. I didn't think it would be that great. Turns out, it is quite powerful and fairly accurate. I got .6 in. groupings, so its good for a cheap gun. I also got those with bb's, not pellets. The bb's have about the same accuracy as the pellets, they also move faster. I purchased this along with remington airmaster 77 at walmart. The crosman was 39.95. I reccomend this to people who are smaller, but they have to be very strong because this thing… Read Full Review

Written on: 04/02/2007 by luckyshooter123 (4 reviews written)

The accuracy problem with this gun is that the barrel and the reciever has play, and u can never tighten it up because thats the way it is designed. It is fun to shoot the gun if the accuracy is not what your looking for. You can still hit a bird within 10-15 yards. The gun is not loud at all and is hard to pump sometimes… Read Full Review

Written on: 09/02/2007

Honestly i think you might be expecting a little much from this gun, it is mostly used for teaching like 13 year old kids to handle something capable of killing a bird at 10 yards, but if you want to do something fun with this waste of space try muzzle loading a wax slug and then dropping in about 15 #.8 shotgun pellets. Thats all i use this gun for and it actually works very well because it's a smooth bore and there's no rifling to mess up the pattern.

Very easy to use. Overall a great airgun for plinking. I haven't shot any live animals with it so i don't know if it can cleanly kill them , but i think it can. It has a large reservoir for bb' s. Comes with a 5 shot pellet clip, way you don't have to reload after every shot. I would recommend some raptor pellets to bring up the speed… Read Full Review

I found this review helpful. just a few extra words, i have killed many animals (including a possum) quickly with this weapon and i just use the pointed pellets for more penetration.

Written on: 31/01/2007 by bb2791 (32 reviews written)

I got my 760 around 5 years ago at around USD115 and I fired uncountable shots (estimated at least 20K shots) before it retires from worn-out valves. I suspect mine is a very old stock because the packing was like antique (crunchy) when I got it and it has rifling instead of smooth bore barrel.

In the beginning I found it really inaccurate when fires BBs, I could see the BB bent, up down, and around the target, just not hitting it at all. I had sent an email to Crosman to get some information… Read Full Review

Just forgot to say that the Pumpmaster has a problem with the forearm, before it retired, the forearm has became very loose. When it was not pumped it will became so loose. In fact it will be dangling around.

I have owned my 760 since 1967 I bought it to shoot pests when i was 16 years old. I have shot pigeons off the top of silo's from inside on a regular basis after i owned the 760 for about 25 years it started loosing power, and believe it or not I still had the book and looked up Crosman service cneters and went to nearest one and got parts to rebuild it, and did so and it works better than new. If you pump it up 25 times it will shoot thought both sides of a metal 5 gal bucket. Wow. I have… Read Full Review

A lot of people comment negatively on this gun's accuracy. I do wish you could get a tighter cluster while sighting it in but ultimately it is very accurate for the price. I sighted-in a 4x15 scope with very good results. In fact, using a styrofoam plate in my yard, after a few shots I was able to shoot the 1/8" wire holding the plate in place from about 25 ft with a pellet. Also, I shot a soup can and was able to place the second shot right through the hole from the first round from about… Read Full Review

I got my Crosman 760B pumpmaster for x-mas and i love it, i have no problems with it and the accuracy it great. It is also a good gun for small game hunting because @ 10 pumps bb's are going 625 FPS and pellets are going 600 FPS. If u r a good shot with scopes mount a scope on it i bought a crossman 4x32mm scope for mine and it just fits i can't put the scope caps on because of the rear sight i had to take the ramp out for my scope to fit on but with that scope it is amazingly accurate. I would… Read Full Review

This gun has unbelievable accuracy. I nailed about 20 birds in just one day with this thing and about 6 of them were pigeons. The gun fails after some time and the accuracy gets worse, even though pumping gets easier. This gun is also extremely powerful. I picked mine up at Walmart for 30 bucks… Read Full Review
