Great gun for all ages of use! I bought it just 3 days ago and it is very good all around, withstanding mud and water, ect. and others like its accuracy and range. I go hunting with it all the time and I got 4 squirrels and 5 birds, dove and crow. We cooked em up and had a blast with this gun. Very good… Read Full Review

I only paid 45$ CDN for the Crosman 760 PumpMaster air rifle, However, it refused to function after 2 months. I don't consider having it repaired, because of wasted time and effort. I liked its light weight and pleasing design… Read Full Review

This Crosman 760 PumpMaster rifle is so useful and accurate. Small, light, and powerful for target practice or hunting. Load it with a pellet, pumped only 4 times (keeps the pellet from exiting for knockdown impact} and you are ready for a 3 pump bb follow up shot though rarely needed. A high pressure shot will go thru them and they will run off but not if they get knocked down. I have several more expensive pellet guns, {12}, none perform with ease of handling and point of aim like the 760… Read Full Review

I bought a Crosman 760 Pumpmaster at Walmart about a month ago to hunt house sparrows. Before I bought it, I read reviews on this site, and most said that the Pumpmaster would work on a sparrow. I started out with bbs. Several times I shot the birds from about 23 ft. It didn't work. It merely knocked them off the post, or made a big poof of feathers. the one time that I did disable one was the time I shot from under it. So, I bought some lead-free pellets(Gamo Pba Raptors) and tried… Read Full Review

i have had this Crosman 760 PumpMaster gun for quite awhile now. like said in many of the other reviews it is a good starters gun. it is light weight and easy to handle. it is good for target practice and stuff. if you are buying a gun for getting rid of vermin, i would suggest maybe a more powerful one. if you do buy this gun for getting rid of vermin i would use pointed pellets. this gun is a very good value for the price you pay. afterall, 625 fps is not to bad. a good 1000 fps gun would at… Read Full Review

For what it is - a very inexpensive starter rifle - the Crosman 760 PumpMaster is just about PERFECT.

Bought one recently for my son and daughter, 6 and 11, at Wal Mart. Same gun I had as a kid, and only $29!

Did not ruin the rifled barrel with BBs, we only shoot pellets, and just for target practice and fun.

Right out of the box I was hitting under 1" groups with the open sights at 10 yards.

Great starter gun… Read Full Review

I like the Crosman 760 for the ease of use and the capability of mounting a scope, which comes in handy for shooting those rascally rabbitts eating my garden veggies. If you use the open sites, I agree with most, it is very uncinsistant. A rifeled barrel would really help the accuracy? Your best bet is the scope, just have to be quick! I like the fact that you can pump this thing numerous times to get a faster more accurate shot. also very easy to clean and maintain!… Read Full Review

Crosman 760 is good for a Newbie Target Shooter! Cocking 10 times (max amount?) every shot will wear down your arm until you build those muscle from pumping. I guess 2-3 pumps would do, but I wanted to see how strong it was… Read Full Review

The Crosman 760 PumpMaster is great for the money if you are plinking a few rodents and vermin to save your vegetable garden from the filthy vermin. Not as powerful though as my old power master but will get the job done. However since i made this purchase I have had little problems with rodents in the vegetable garden… Read Full Review

The Crosman 760 has been on the market for many years. It is a proven design suitable for shooters of all ages. I do not consider the 760 to be adequate for hunting anything larger than a sparrow. It is fine for informal target shooting at cans and empty shotshells. Overall a fun little gun… Read Full Review

Written on: 09/05/2009

I received a model Crosman 760-25 in 1991. It has been flawless until this year, 2009. The piston is loosing compression (part# 760-140).

I put a 4 power fixed 22 mag scope on it so my 54 year old eyes can see the target.

I have firepower to the max with other guns but this little rifle has 50 times the kills! Great gun ... almost like the brass bolt model 760 I had as a kid… Read Full Review
