I have brought a Crosman Ratcatcher today and I was wondering what modifications are recommended to make this more powerful. And if it can be modded to take a bigger CO1 canister if anyone knows post a reply

This is my second review on the Crosman Ratcatcher as I have now had it for about a month I thought I'd update it. I'vE shot about 300 through it. I have taken the rifle out hunting twice after woodpidgeons and pheasant. The accuracy is very good and stays good after a great deal of shots as I have ...

I just got a Crosman Ratcatcher today, £95 for the gun and 4x20 scope, £5 for 10 c02s and £30 for Logan silencer. Took 10 mins to set up and I took 3 woodies in about 1 hour, only stopped because of the rain! The power is great, worked wonders on pests, no problem with stopping pow ...

As a keen air gunner I have always been picky about what rifles I buy. My favorite rifle that I own is my TC200 HC, but I wanted something that would take the knocks without damaging the stock, so when I was on holiday I decided to buy a Crosman Ratcatcher. I wasn't too sure about it, but I had alwa ...

I've owned my modified Crosman 2240 rifle (as it's called in the states). The major modification was the extended barrel and rifle stock as used on your Ratcatcher.
Suprisingly accurate for a $50 air rifle although stock sights are next to worthless, even with adjustment. In fact, the plastic f ...

I've had my Crosman Ratcatcher Air Rifle for only three days now and taken it out shootong once, I shot a tree rat at 20yards and another at about 30 it took them both out clean as you like, I also shot a pigeon at 15-20yards. The scope that comes with the gun is not good enough, I run a 3-9 times 4 ...

The Crosman Ratcatcher is a lightweight rifle that is very effective in the killing of vermin, i.e. pigeons and rats. This rifle is a must have for people who want a bit of casual fun, and for the newcomers to the air rifle culture. I believe it is a must have.

I have a couple of Crosman Ratcatcher guns and they are great. On one of them I have fitted the 2260 longer barrel and a stiffer hammer spring, with a guide, for over 600 fps. (11.8 ft/lbs) It will shoot 1/2 inch groups at 25 Yards after I crowned the barrel and replaced the receiver with a metal on ...

The ratcatcher is a budget air rifle but its one that can be improved so much with little effort, making it into a very good, effective Co2 rifle. I actually own four of them now, all have different modifications and all are used for different jobs. I own lots of rifles, pcp's, spring and c02. Wi ...
