This, when it started had all the possibilities of become a great and powerful site, then, through change of ownership and the techies taking more control than they should have been allowed They have turned Friends Reunited in to a complete and utter mess How very sad, over engineered, over techy and totally complex to use and I have been a IT Director for many Years

Who in heavens name has coded this site, its absolute rubbish. Unfit for purpose, they need to shut it down.

Impression I get is that most people have abandoned this site which seems clumsy in use.

Looks like it was designed on a training course in MS word! It seems to think that putting a million people in a group and locking out any sub-filters makes life easy! There's little correlation between your meta-data and the database, other than year. The owners have obviously no idea about big data and analytics. It seems to match on a year span only and disregards any other sub-filters and criteria that you've created in the profile. The text formatting is constrained in HTML and is dreadful to use. The site is now trying to push "memories" which seems out of sync with what its core name implies and its sparodic use and grouping makes the site very difficult to use. It needs a rethink of its architecture and usability. As It stands there's nothing there that would make me want to return. Disappointed.

They should have left it as it was. They have ruined a site that was functioning well. You cannot find anything. It's very amateurish and the present owners have trashed it.

Had an email about this new site, very disappointed, nothing like the old site. Seems to becompletly, different.

The site has no purpose. Most of the names have gone. Here is a business opportunity for someone to create something like the old version for tracking down old school friends!

You utter wallies- what have you done . Put the site back to its original now !...and lose the idiots posting their boring Spanish holiday snaps as a school photo!

Just logged into friends reunited for the first time in 2 years and it has changed completely and is completely useless. Whoever is responsible for ruining this site should be shot

After trying for 2 hours to find my old information re school friends, work place, photos etc I just closed the site down. Incidentally after having been told that my password was not recognised. I am so disappointed to have lost contact with numerous friends I had found again dating back to 1958. But unfortunately many of them are not yet on Facebook.

Total waste of time. I thought I had logged into some sort of scam website. Couldn't look up anything. Next time I log in I am going to cancel my details and be removed. The site was better 8 years ago, they are going backwards with technology. Not even worth rating one star.

If I could give no stars I would, this new look site is awkward to navigate and hugely frustrating. I managed to access only half a message advertising a school reunion and suspect, sadly, that I'm not alone. Please FR return to the way things were, it wasn't't broke so why break it!??

I joined F.R years ago when it first came out. The original site was very easy to use, and I met a lot of school friends, lot's of photos, and memories. Shame on the new owners, revert back to the old user friendly site that we all enjoyed and do us all a favour.

The latest owners have ruined Friendsreunited. It is absolute rubbish. They should have left it as it was. They are pig headed and ignorant. Do not listen to public opinion and just carrying on killing a good brand.

Zero, zero, zero! Everything about this site is a complete shambles! Who ever made the decision to go ahead and change everything to this fiasco of a site should be given immediate notice to leave the company. Goodbye friends united,it was a good friendly site but is now as dead as the Dodo!
