My son who is a better shot than me hit 12 cans on the trot
at about 40 metres ,I myself hit 9 from 12.
So as you can see its a real accurate rifle.
Comparing with my old BSA Airsporter which i have had for 24 years (and still going strong after a respring)the Longbow is lighter shorter and easier to manage.
I hope this lasts as well as the Bsa has.Im sure it will… Read Full Review

i have had my longbow for 2 days now, i had to zero in my 3-9x50 simmmons scope on my own. The first day i went out shooting i got 3 pigeons and 2 magpies. The second day i got 1 rabbit and 2 crows. I got the rabbit from 20 metres away and when the pellet hit the rabbit it moved half a foot, great for hunting definitely the best spring powered air rifle available unless you want to get a webley venom version of the longbow (webley venom sidewinder). This gun is pure genius!!… Read Full Review

Hey Matt the problem with ur inconsisitent pellet placement may be a number of things, maybe the seal on the barrel is worn and is leaking air. Also i find that if I lubricate pellets with oil the gun diesels and accuracy is lost so i prepare mine and coat them in furniture polosh which has beeswax in it, this improves accuracy. Maybe its ur technique remember NEVER rest spring guns on a hard surface you should take an easy grip using your leading arm as a base for the rifle to rest on and then just squeeze the trigger slowly don't snatch at it also that breathing has to be spott on as well. I use RWS superdomes instead of webley lazapell or dome the cost a bit more but are lighter and travel further you also get 500 to a tin.

I agree with the lube comment. If I lube my Lazadomes with Napier pellet lube, the gun starts to diesel after a while. Also, as I am learning, trigger control is an art that I will have to practice and practice!

Matt, I've seen an accuracy problem caused by the spring being a bit tight inside the piston sleeve. Easily fixed with a slightly smaller OD spring.

This is the best rifle i have ever bought. Working with a mate on a number of farms shooting rabbits this gun will cope even under the hardest circumstances.
It can kill even at 40 metres and has the best ajustable trigger piece ever. I very good rifle for some one who wants a easy to use rifle for only £250. Top!… Read Full Review
