Its got loads of power when needed well plenty for the road anyway.
Can't find any bad points, apart from the horn not working after washing it one day and the f1 light coming on onc in a blue moon.
Nice bike all round goes well and handles well for its age… Read Full Review

This bike is a phenomenon! I had an 07 and let it go to get another K5 just for the track. The midrange is unbelievable. Just point and Shoot. I'm outta here!… Read Full Review

A very responsive yet nimble and easy ride with great and instant power. this beast can be tamed and is at home through the town as it is on the open road. within the space of a year i went from the 600 to the 750 to the 1000 and by far the best bike ive ridden… Read Full Review

This bike is a total missile just point and hang on. I have a k6 1000, for my angry blood thirsty adrenaline crazy days (still having them at 43yrs old. Guess I will never grow up. But for my normal cool Sunday squirt I have an Aprilia Tuono factory. Equally as crazy but tend to cruise at around 60 mph less. Than on the gixer. I get a fantastic buzz from both bikes, and love them both equally. It ' s all down to my mood on the day to which bike I prefer to ride… Read Full Review

The Suzuki GSXR is a very easy bike to ride fast and thats what its made for. It doesn't handle as sharp or as forgiving as a GSXR750 but its far less effort to go fast on. Ride it/Rev it like a 750 and you will fall in love with it. I wouldn't swap mine for anything else, but I haven't rode the 08 blade yet!… Read Full Review

Suzuki used to take technology from the 750 and then put it on the 1000. From 2003 they reversed that, the tech on the 2003 GSX-R 1000 is put on the 750 in 2004.
Easy to control on low speeds... but an absolute MONSTER when you decide to open up the throttle from any gear. When your in sixth gear it feels like you're in fourth, never have been higher then 5000 rpm (have it for two months) but it seems to be all I could use (legally) on the road.
I love the looks of my K3, "baby Busa" and… Read Full Review

Love the bike and its rapid response as I am only 5.6 its great I can actually touch the floor on it as well. I am not a technical girl I just know hat I like and thats the GSXR100 I loved my GSX600 then went to the ZX9R E2 and the GSXR is by the far the next step up I want to take and a great improvement on my last bike. The bike just feels great as soon as I got on it I felt as though I was part of the bike… Read Full Review

They fly! My 2006 is quite the ride I only open the throttle full in second gear, first gear gear is next to impossible to do so in the mid RPM ranges. I modified mine with new intake and full racing exhaust and adjusted the rev limiter, the bike does what you ask it to do. Amazing!… Read Full Review

Its my first second Suzuki and not a model I would have gone looking for, but as it came along at a reasonable price it was bought.
I've got to say its got plenty of poke in any gear - more than is usable in most circumstances really. The handling is very good - better even than my 98 Blade which I always thought was excellent anyway. And its light - not that it looks it - but it is.
I've got the HEL lines all round and assume that the brakes are now improved over what they were before but… Read Full Review

I have just picked up my first Suzuki GSXR 1000, I have to say WOW! Its a 2002 K2 model, and it's brilliant. The power delivery is unbelievable, it make my old 2001 R1 feel slow. Gear box is silky and slick, handleing is far better than any 1000c bike I've owned before.
I have been able to pull wheelies on all my bikes, but know where as easy as this 1st, 2nd and 3rd the front just picks up.
The exhaust note is so sweet I can't help but rev it.
Out of all the bikes I've owned this without a… Read Full Review

I live in the Isle of Man, there is NO UPPER SPEED LIMIT. This Suzuki K6 Gixer is taken to the limiter in 4th 5th and 6th on roads, twisty, sometimes bumpy roads not a straight Autobahn or a dead pan smooth short circuit. This is a road bike and there is only one road in the world you can legally take this bike to the limit. 170mph+ across a mountain passing blades, R1s and bike engined lotus 7s. True an R1/Blade will stay with the Gixer, maybe a Ducati or MV but to be honest ive only… Read Full Review

I have had my bike for five years and even after riding newer models, I have had no desire to upgrade to later model.
This is the best bike Suzuki ever made! Huge power in all rev ranges .
Wheel stands even from 180ks in third. (big clutching.. ha:))
Mine hasn't missed a beat in 30000 ks.
Good under seat storage… Read Full Review

Amazing handling, especially with wheelies, so stable. I love my bike, she moves! Easy to ride. I think I stripped my 2nd gear cause I lifted her clicked into 2nd but it slipped between gears and the chain rattled big time. Now it feels rough in 2nd only… Read Full Review
