“Alaska cruise and rail”

We had a brilliant 2 weeks starting in Chicago with a 2 night stay at The Essex Inn then a 2 night train journey on the Empire Builder to Seattle, which was great fun. We then spent 2 nights at The Warwick Hotel in Seattle before boarding the Star Princess for a weeks cruise to Alaska. The whole holiday exceeded all expectations. “Chicago - Seattle - Skagway (Alaska) - Victoria BC.....”

“Wosts company ever”

I have just discovered the worst travel company in the UK. I hope yo are reading this before booking with then and not after. I used Bargain Holidays who in turn use this utterly hopeless company. This is this most dishonest company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Unfortunately I did not look up any reviews before booking my holiday with them, and was subjected to what appears to be their standard deceitful sales process. I was advised that in addition to the price for the holiday shown on the website, I would need to pay: 1. A fee for using a debit or credit card 2. Had exactly the msame experience!! Lies!1 And told the holiday was not available on those dates and was made to pay more!! Scam!!!! Again when challeneged told me verything was processed and they did not do refunds! Even after finding it on another site with exact dates!! Then the joke of tax here check in cost there!! I am not filled with confidence to say the least!!

We had exactly the same experience! Booked end of July, to go 10days later to Fuerteventura( 5 of us). Price advertised on Ice Lolly , was no longer valid for Liverpool departures.Manchester more expensive, so they suggested Glasgow (only slightly more expensive). Finally decided to book it-flights with Thomas Cook & 20kg allowance-adviser took payment & said would phone back in 5mins with confirmation of booking. He phoned back to say booked the hotel but the price of flights had gone up -only 2 available at the price quoted ! But we could go from Edinburgh for the original price. Felt 'trapped' so agreed. When flight confirmation came thru' (later that day)it was with RyanAir & 15kg allowance - he forgot to mention this!!! The hotel confirmation didnt come thru' for nearly another week! When we got to Fuerteventura, the transfers hadn't been booked for our arrival date - they'd been booked for the following month! However we did have a great holiday & this week have finally got a refund for transfer! My sister-in-law booked at the same time with them & had numerous problems with names on tickets -& trouble trying to contact the call centre to sort it out -spent nearly a full day on the phone & then they didnt contact RyanAir to change the name,she phoned to check! No I wouldn't use them again.

“Good Value”

We went with Jetline to America last year. We had three days in New York, then took the Amtrak down to New Orleans for another three days. We then sailed to the Bahamas for a week. This was one of the best holidays we have ever had, and could not fault Jetline one little bit. We booked over the phone, everything was explained and arranged. DEAL OF THE DAY ON ICELOLLY.COM Saw a great deal flying from Bristol to Corfu + accommodation for 14 nights at £156 pp for 3 of us in mid October 2012. Being an ex-travel agent, I should have realised that something was wrong. Sorry can't help with your booking, suggest you google ABTA, IATA, and any other travel authority that ICELOLLY or DEAL OF THE DAY may be members of.

Personally, I'd contact your card company and tell them that you have not received the service paid for and you wish to cancel the transaction... book with someone else, we finally booked with holidayhypermarket (Thomsons) and go on 3rd Oct to Ibiza, far cheaper and reliable company.

We have just returned from the most amazing time all organized through Jetline Cruise. Our personal agent Danny talked us through the whole holiday of which i have to add was not a normal one. The hotels Jetline recommended were perfect to get around to all the attractions in both Seattle and Chicago. i booked my holiday for the 25/8/12 and returning home on the 1/9/12 but in the worse case i returned home on the 26/8/12 because the company "deal of the day holidays" refused to help us while we did not have a shower that worked in our room the fridge was rotted and not working bed sheets were covered in fag burns and blood baring in mine i booked a 5* all inclusive hotel in Tunisia "amir palace hotel" the food was all of 1chips they did not cater for English in anyway?? this is just a scan of my holiday i can do detail but this is just brief .. I am writing a letter to jet line travel / ice lolly.com to receive full compensation of my weeks holiday as i had to return home after the 2nd day of which was meant to be my weeks holiday.

I have been trying to confirm my accomodation with jetline travel and I am being told that I have a one bedroom apartment in a hotel. I have been to this complex before and there are no apartments and no hotel, I have paid for a bungalow with sea view and the latest agent I spoke to advised that for this it would cost an extra £116.00 I have not been my holiday yet but I am going to take the risk with what they have given me and hopefully sort something out when i get there if it is not good enough.

“Ripped off & Stressed before even leaving the UK”

After making booking was told amount due to pay is £760 with baggage & DEBIT card charge & booking fee & online check in &&&&& ... the list goes on. I needed to book a holiday during a very busy week so I blame myself. I found it very hard to understand the Indian man on the phone and had to get him to repeat most things. This company is absolute joke. From the moment we booked its been a nightmare. I booked a holiday with my girlfriend to Turkey last month through jetline travel. When I rang up the price was £185 each but after discussions with the employer it went up to £350 each because transfers/luggage had to be included etc. As the transfer was 2.5 hours away in Kalkan I thought it was still ok (my own fault) The man I was speaking withs English wasn't very good so I made sure over 5 times on the phone that the transfer was included which he confirmed. “Impossible to contact after booking. Avoid at all costs”
