I've had the Sony Ericsson P800 for about 4 months, and bought it primarily for the touch screen/pda/phone combination which was the first of its kind. I've had to exchange it twice using the "Orange Care" (thouroughly recommend this service also - next day replacement of my phone for £5 a mo ...

This is a great gadget, with great functionality. I replaced both my cell phone and Palm PDA with one device (the P800). However, when it carashed and could not be started within 4 months of purchase, I had the worst experience with Sony Ericsson technical support. I sent it two times for repaire, a ...

The SONY P800 is Simply irresistable! Most awaited, it is a big boom in the mobile market. Excellent Features and a 5 way Jog dial makes navigation easy. Some people say a phone is for making and receiving calls, and some say a PDA should ONLY do PDA fuctions, and a cd player...for playing music! I don't think so! The Sony Ericsson P800 lets you listen to music while you work, or you can call someone while you are browsing the net, taking pictures or ...

I decided it was time to sell my faithful IPAQ 3950 PDA and buy a fully integrated mobile phone / PDA. I asked the advice of several 'experts' in various phone outlets and was told the P800 was the one for me. "It does everything" I was told and sure enough it does - unfortunately, unconvincingly. ...

The Sony Ericsson P800 is a superb gadget, much more than a phone, went from a nokia 3330 to this. the difference could not have been more dramatic. the features are described elsewhere, so i'll just point out, only 2 days after buying on an upgrade for £300 from the link, why i now have a gd8 ...

I've tried and tried with this but it's now back to my T68 and the iPAQ PDA. As a PDA you can't edit Word / Excel docs. As a phone answering another incoming call whilst on one is a right fiddle. And the fact that it can't to Line 2 on Orange is nuts. The camera quality is very very poor. Nice try b ...

I only got the Sony Ericsson P800 while I was waiting for the Motorola V600 to come out but after 5 minutes of use I was addicted so I will be keeping it. "Motorola V600 LOL" This phone can do almost anything plays mp3's and movies, you can even fit a whole film onto a 128 MB stick if you compress i ...

The P800 was worth the wait as it became available in South Africa only in April 2003.
Very happy with the PDA function and the camera.
There is a desktop unit that can replace the existing charger/syncroniser. It has a speakerphone facility as well (CSS-20 DPY901403)
Overall, very impress with t ...

Functionality of this phone is quite outstanding, and puts the P800 as one of the leading phones on the market today. I would not recommend this phone to anyone who would not use the features it provides however. But, if like me, you require good PDA functionality, Internet access (full web browse ...
