The Fuji 4700 is a fantastic little toy. It does exactly what it says on the box, assuming that the box says it takes great pictures, is really easy to carry around with you, and supremely easy to use, from the point and click to the more sophisticated features.
It can be quite battery hungry, so e ...

This is my first digital camera, so a rating is a bit arbitrary, but I am totally satisfied with it. The controls are simple and intuitive, the quality is fine, the USB and video interfaces simple. It won't ever replace an SLR for extreme quality shots, and ultimate controlability, but it makes al ...

I have used the Fuji MX2700 for the past 2 years and was looking for something with a little better resolution, a zoom, and expanded functionality. I love the MX2700 output in terms of color rendition, and look and feel of the camera. I initially was going to buy the new 6900 but given the price an ...

Bought this camera in August from internetcamerasdirect.
My wife has a Contax 167MT and the photo's from the Fuji are as good as any we have seen from there. If you have been waiting for digital cameras to get as good (better?) than 35mm then the 4700 does it. I bought mine with a 128meg card and t ...

No regrets ... lots of fun, some truly excellent images. Have actually made a decent amount of money by doing formal group shots and having them processed by Photobox. Customers are shocked to get top quality A4 images in just two days from shooting! I am shocked to find the images as good as scan ...

I have been looking for a good digital for some time, and decided on the Fuji 4700 after looking carefully at cameras feature's.
Also what put me on to the 4700 was the new super cd and its output of 4.3 million pixels from a 2.4 million pixel chip.
I found that it was value for your money and a b ...

I spent ages deciding on which camera to buy.
In the end I opted for the Fuji 4700, as my mate has a 40i and I was impressed with the image quality the SuperCCD gives.
I opted for the 4700 as I wanted a zoom, and I'm really happy with it.
Running on 2 NiMh rechargable batteries lasts ages.
    Its p ...

I believe that this may be a good camera (I will reserve judgement until I, if I ever, actually manage to load the camera on to my computer. I am sorely disappointed in its lack of ease of use.

First digital camera. You will want to buy a larger memory card as the 16 MB gets eaten up quite quickly. Very nice picture quality. Comes with a lens cover which, believe it or not, is not standard equipment on most digital cameras. Thumbnail preview is a nice touch. In addition to the viewing ...

Biggest criticism is the Finepix 4700's limited resolution options - the 640x480 mode is too low to be any real use, 1280x960 is pretty good, but if that is all I wanted, I'd have bought a 1.3 megapixel camera. From there you jump straight to 2400x1800 4.3 megapixel mode, which is a little over the ...
