My first gun was a webbley and scott xocet 22
After a couple of weeks I'd killed 2 pheasant loads of rats and 1 Squirrel and a few pigeons. I'm working on some magpies at the moment
My mate has a BSA METEOR and he thought that his gun was the best until I brought my xocet now his gun is rubbish compared to mine. We go out shooting all the time he always tries 2 use my xocet
I recommend this gun to anyone. (read more)

I have the .22 XS version of the Webley Xocet (scope only model, with fitted silencer). It's fitted with a BSA 3-9x52 deerhunter scope. This air rifle is, once zerod in correctly, very accurate indeed with the abillity of shooting through the same hole of a paper target at 35-40 yds consistently using the prone possition. It has a nice two stage adjustable trigger, wich has a clean predictable action. The stock of this rifle is ampidexterous but could benifit from a slightly higher... (read more)

I've owned the Webley xocet .177 carbine for roughly one week now and have had an excellent time. The exocet is the first gun that I've owned and compared to my friends SMK B2.22 custom It really does take centre stage. So far I've managed to take 3 crows, 1 wood pigeon and 1 magpie using open sights at ranges up to about 45yrds all have been clean kill shots. I'm very impressed with the rifle and I would recommend it to anyone, beginners and experienced shooters. (read more)

The Webley Xocet is an excellent rifle and I am pleased with my purchase. Having used in my youth HW80/HW35 and HW77, I was a bit unsure of this light weight British rifle. I got it from a gunsmith locally and had no salesman pressuring me; I could also see what I was going to buy.
The 4x40 Webley sights are good enough for the hunting I do and easy to adjust. Because of the recoil you should check that the sights haven't moved (you should check your sights every time you hunt sorry for the... (read more)

Bought the Xocet Xs .22 at same time as a friend we got a deal of £160, on the first day shooting my friend fired his and the stock split just behind the trigger (the barrel was not allowed to snap back or anything like that) His gun stock has now been replaced foc. I have found my gun to be very accurate but has quite a kick and spring noise to it. I had the gun chronod at between 10.5 and 11.5 ft lbs using cheap bulldog pellets. I have since fitted a theoben gas ram to it which has made... (read more)

I really like the Xocet at first. It's a light, accurate and good looking rifle for a bargain price. What I don't like was the stock screws break easily, even I have tighten the screws everytime after the shooting. I've returned 3 Xocets to the gun dealer for my money back because of what it happened. It's a bit loud and it good enough to get your neigbors attentions. Also, I found a lot of twang on the Xocet. I am uncertain about the reliability on the Xocet. (read more)

I purchased a Webley Xocet carbine after I studied some reviews on the internet. I really like the rifle at first and thought it was well worthy for the price. It's very accurate, light weight and over all very good quality build rifle. It's a bit loud and would draw some of your neighbor's attention, a lot of twang, some spring vibrations and manageable recoils. But I had went through 3 Xocets within 4 months and sent it all back for the same reason, broken stock screws. The first rifle... (read more)

The Webley Xocet is a accurate, light weight, compact and good looking air rifle. I like it a lot after shooting it for a while. But I have went through 3 of them and sent back to the dealer within 750 shots of each rifle for same reason the broken stock screws. The third Xocet I received was replaced with higher grade steel screws from the dealer after it broke at the first time. After the first 2 rifle screws broken experiences, every time I checked the 2 stock screws was tighten before... (read more)

This Webley Xocet is essentially one of the best guns that I have ever used. With every shot that I make I am confident that if I do my part correctly, the gun will perform perfectly.
This is the first air gun that I have owned, but I have had experience with many other rifles, and not only air powered ones at that.
It is a great first rifle. I bought it in .177, and it supplies easily enough power (12 ft/lbs) to take down a rabbit or a squirrel at 25 yards.
So, power is excellent. Accuracy... (read more)

If you are looking for a quick review, look elsewhere. This is a long, in-depth review of the Webley Xocet, so please bare with me.
For those of you who read my SMK B2.22 review, sorry for the lateness in this review. I promised it at the end of August, it is now mid October. Better late than never.
After being let down by my B2, I was hankering after a good spring rifle within a £200 budget. It needed to be accurate, high quality, and powerful, as I was going to use it for hunting. After... (read more)
