Open an account with Natwest 3 weeks and 2 days ago via telephone banking. All was confirmed over the phone and I was asked to take my passport to a local branch to confirm my identity and then all would be sorted with a week or so (10 working days is there time scale).

Changed bank to Alliance & Leicester get double the interest than Natwest. When informed Natwest I was closing account they asked why to which I informed them better interest rate they said well we can do that !!!

No offer is good enough to make it worth banking with these. Took four weeks before I had had enough- still no cards, paying in book or cheque book, company name was mis-spelt and staff were very rude

Natwest Business Bank Account's online system is too complicated with silly card reader machine.
Customer relations an absolute joke. No one will accept responsibility for their negligence and ridiculous policies.
Please do not use NatWest go somewhere else. Even HSBC are better. ...

Took many weeks to set up an account whereas Halifax did it in a day. Was treated rudely by service staff, had to tell them what their duties were. Did not return calls on many occasions. If you just need to get basic transfers done and are unlikely to need any admin updated, changes made, accounts closed, then the online banking service is efficient and easy to use, but it ends there..
