Overall, a better all round T68. Improvements in all areas except for very low battery life. Having said that, the T68's replacement out in a couple of week to 3 months will be another incremental step forward.

Some things are really upsetting. The fact that the screen has only 256 colours mak ...

The Siemens S55 doesn't have enough online backup unlike nokia or other brands. We have a lot of options that we can not use, so y put them in the first place.

Had T68i, then T100 Samsung. Got S55, used it for a few days and although its a pretty little thing, its screen is awfull and its camera is a total waste of time. Swapped it for new Nokia 7650...great decision.

I was torn between getting the Siemens S55 and the Nokia 7210. I tried both phones and decided that the Nokia is not fit to be classed in the same category as the S55. Despite previously being a die-hard Nokia user, the S55 totally changed my mind and is simply the best phone I have ever owned! I lo ...

A great phone but WHERE ARE ALL THE DOWNLOADS! I have been onto 30 different ringtone sites (including Vodaphone who I am with) and none of them have the S55. If anyone knows where I can get anything please help.

I got my S55 for £50 from phones4u. You won't get it for anywhere near that unless you take out a new contract at the same time, though. The cable it comes with and the program you run on your PC to send stuff direct to the phone is really easy to use, and the midi editing thing for the ringt ...

In a word, this phone is fantastic. It's not perfect, but it's such an amazing set of features for the price that I'd urge everyone to have a look at it.
The UI might not be as straightforward in some ways as Nokia's, but it's still very easy to use, and quite responsive. The Siemens FlexMem system ...

I've always used Siemens because you get so much more than you pay for. I'm getting the S55 not because it comes free with a camera but because it supports Colour, Java, Bluetooth, hands free talking and it's triple band! Well done Siemens mobile, you have provided the market with a great looking ph ...

Like the phone a lot, using it a lot for the Java apps for mobile Instant Messaging from www.justyak.com to chat. Although the screen is not as big as others like Nokia 7650, the IM over GPRS experience is very good. Much better than SMS. Siemens has done a good job on Java implementation!
