I order two pairs of jeans online, to be delivered to France. The expected delivery time was 5 days, but over a month later, i still didn't receive anything. I sent three emails to customer service over the following weeks, but didn't recieve any response. Some time later, a refund was placed in my account, with no email/call from them. I went into the store at Denton Crown point, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I was asked if I needed any help at the front, and the staff were polite both at the fitting rooms and the till. “Great customer service in the carlisle store”

“TERRIBLE AND JUST SAD”

Dorothy Perkins is a big franchise, i visited their store in the UK and they had nice things. However i placed an order from the US and its 3 months and going, i have not received anything from Dorothy Perkins. I have sent 2 emails and have not gotten a response yet. This is my first time to order from them- and I'm so disappointed...
Ordered 2 pairs of shoes-received wrong sizes, no return label, so had to pay $25 for shipping, try to contact customer service regarding this-no respond of course... so upset! don't even know if I will see my money back at all!

“Thrown In A Bag And Dirty!”

I just received my order from DP two dress and two pairs of heels. First on-line order with DP (I do loads of on-line shopping). Looks like they were thrown in a bag, very over sized bag and just sent! One dress wasn't even in a separate bag My heels were just wrapped in tissue paper that wasn't attached when I opened it so four heels waiting to stab my dresses and ruin them! Luckily didn't happen. “Horrible Nightmare Customer Service”

I placed 2 orders (yes, why give them a second chance??) First order was disappointing. Of 4 dresses orders, only one fit. I followed measurement chart but was apparent that my height and where hips/bust would fall were not taken into consideration! One dress unravelled upon first wearing. “Dreadful after-sales service - be wary when ordering...”

I ordered 3 items from the website and two of the items were unsuitable and needed to be returned. As one of the items was a 'concession' item it could not be returned to store and had to be sent back by post. I therefore decided to send both items back together. “Very Happy with the website service!”

I bought a dress on Tues, 31st Jan 2012. It was supposed ot be £25, but with 25% student discount and delivery cost of £4 it only cost approx £22 which doesnt osund a huge saving, but i'd have paid £29 with delivery without the discount. It was fantastic that you can claim student discount online. On top of this, I got an email on Wed 1st Feb saying my order had been dispatched. “parcel has not arrived after 1.5 months”

“4 months for a refund..”

I bought two different items which I could have worn for my birthday and they arrived after my birthday, making them about three weeks late)I then did the online/postal returns process as there isnt a local dottyp's that stock for tall people. 3 months later, I finally receive my refund, which was for a measly £12.50, and only covered one of the items. I wish I had read these reviews before I shopped with them online.. I returned 3 skirts to them as they were very poor quality and they sent me an email saying there was only 2 in the package and will only refund for two.. So me losing £30.. I phoned their customer services which was a complete waste of time as it didnt do me any good at all as they refused to move and do nothing to help me.. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL.. And also beware because they also own the following companies...TOP SHOP.. EVANS.. WALLACE.. TOP MAN.. OUTFIT.. BHS..

“Appalling customer service”

I paid extra for selected day delivery. Parcels always arrive with me for 11am. I contacted Dorothy Perkins four times late afternoon asking if they could let me know where my parcel was. I was told they would be contacted and she would call me back...didn't happen. I was then told they couldn't do this when I called again, this is not true. “Return service is a joke, only order if you are...”

I saw all the adverts for 30% off at Dorothy Perkins so decided to shop online and buy lots and then send whatever I didnt like back. Website was fine, ordered my items no problem! The problem came when I returned items. One of the orders came in 2 bags as it was quite large! So I saw no problem sending 2 parcels back as it wouldnt all fit in one bag. How wrong I was! “Bad service and worst customer service ever!”

They canceled items in my order without telling me yet still charged me for them. Ignoring all emails to try and rectify problem and phone numbers on website don't work. The delivery never arrived on the nominated day, but the tracking information stated that the courier had attempted delivery. The thing with DP is that whenever you call Customer Serivces you can never speak to anyone - I was in a queue of 20!!!! This makes it even more frustrating!
