The coat arrived on time and looked good, but because of vanity sizing it was too big for me (La Redoute 8 is ASOS 10). So began the long and hard process of exchanging/returning it. After emailing the customer service only to receive no reply I called and called the customer service and finally got through. I recently ordered a raincoat in the sale. When it arrived it was not the one that was shown on their internet site. There was no explanation that it was a different item to that which I ordered. I tried to telephone customer service but after holding for 10 minutes abandoned call and sent an e-mail instead. Their trading name should be LA RUBBISH. Terrible customer service, goods still not delivered after 10 day eventhough all items selected where "in stock". They do not answer e-mails, when you try to call they will put you on hold for hours unless you press #1 for new order, then all of a sudden they're interested! Lets get the positive (note singular) out of the way first. My wife bought a dress from them, and it was actually fantastic. But there is where the fairytale ends.
I bought lots of items from their website 2 weeks before my holiday. Plenty of time to get this right you would think. But no, after a week, I called them as the order had not been processed. “Laredoute is a bad company. They delivered the clothes...”

Laredoute is a bad company. They delivered the clothes i ordered very late so i sent them back via their courier service.
2 weeks later, they still haven't refunded my money. when i called them, they said I will have to post a copy of the receipt. I told them I have the tracking number which confirms the items were delivered the day after they were picked from mine. They insisted they would need the receipt to be able to process my refund.

A week ago I ordered some clothes from La Redoute for when I go on holiday. I asked for them to be delivered to my office as I don't have anyone to take in parcels at home. I was still waiting today and the website said that the order was still "being prepared" so I called them to find out what was going on.

Apparently they can't deliver to business addresses so rather than inform you of this, they keep the order as "being prepared" and wait for you to call up and query what's going on… Read Full Review

I've ordered two things from La Redoute recently, one of which still hasn't arrived despite my being assured that it would arrive in time for my holiday in July (it's now nearly September, when am I going to wear a short skirt in winter?).

La redoute have got worse over the years, as everyone else says things which are in stock on the website r not in stock. They never answer the phone high call volumes all the time. Now they appear to have gotten rid of their uk call centre which makes things difficult. I've had to order my shoe twice using two different cards and this is the first and last time i will ever have to use this messed up and confused people. I'm yet to recieve confirmation on my order. i got registered with an account number which they can't seem to find on there system and i recieved an email from them giving me this customer reference. i will not even recommend this website to my enemy. this is the worst online store ever. One out of 4 tops is going arrive apparently but I placed the order 5 working days ago so god knows how long I will wait. I emailed customer services and told them to cancel the order. I ordered a rectangular tablecloth (purple) for xmas table but was sent an oval one. In January, I returned the tablecloth and asked for the correct shape and size cloth to be sent to me in exchange. It never arrived. Nor was I ever refunded the money.

Avoid. Clunky website. Half of order out of stock despite showing available on website. No opportunity to cancel the rest of the order.

I placed a one-off internet order on laredoute.co.uk. The site seemed very clunky, hard to navigate and counter-intuitive (especially compared to sites like boden, amazon etc) but I persevered as the childrens clothes looked so cute and different compared to the usual UK high street offerings.

La Redoute has shocking service, poor quality clothing, unhelpful policies that ensure you'll be frustrated with any dealings with them.
I tried to cancel my order when it hadn't even begun to be processed 3 days after I placed it. They refused to let me cancel my order and delivered it 2 weeks late whilst I was on holidays (left it with my neighbours despite me asking them not to deliver it in the first place).
