“not all parts came”

Just had a desk arrive from an Argos home delivery, delivery staff were lovely and chatty and carried the cardboard box into my room. However when I went to unpack it, the fittings did not arrive with the rest of the desk. So I now have to wait for them to arrive by post. “Argos Delivery cancelled ”

Initially very impressed , email to say I would receive a call re delivery , call received advising Sunday between 7am and 6pm. Further text saying delivery narrowed to 2 hours and then a phone call to say actually this would perhaps change by half an hour - ok no problems , still very satisfied , what a nice change to be kept in the delivery loop. “Argos now delivers by helicopter patiently”

Ordered a tv from Argos to be delivered to my brother's address as I couldn't get time off. My heavily pregnant sister-in-law waited the entire 13 hours and it didn't arrive. They live in an apartment block so any delivery needs to be buzzed in by the relevant apartment. “Inefficient and unreliable company”

I've had 6 weeks of problems with Argos after a Bush cooker my landlord bought from them went faulty. (Side note - there were several delivery no-shows from Argos before we even managed to get the cooker in the first place.) Rather than trying to make the situation right, Argos treated us as though we were asking them a favour when we reported this fault. “fridge freezer replacement ”

We have a 3 week old fridge freezer that is non repairable through manufacturers build error and argos are happy to exchange it for a new one but on the same day but expect us to turn the faulty one off 24 hours prior to the exchange but what do we do with 200 pounds worth of food that is in the appliance for about 36 hours any other electrical appliance this system would work but not in this case so we have to go elsewhere for new appliance and then get the faulty one collected when we have… Read Full Review

“Three times a FAIL for delivery. Never again. ”

I'll condense the delivery saga to save you the tedious drama that unfolded * Mon, 9th December, ordered hand weights and a double bed frame. Stated delivery for the Wed 11th December. “Worst customer service ever”

Ordered 3 items . Message came back saying server was busy and order would be confirmed within 2 hours. Had no email and no order number. Emailed them no response , then after 2days they emailed me requesting the address and post code , they obviously could not get this info from the order. Sent this to them then heard nothing. “Very big disappointment ”

I ordered a diner table from Argos. It was in the advert that Argos will deliver within 14 days. I placed an order on 23rd of November. Next week Argos call me and told that they have a stock problem and they only can deliver my order on 17th of December . Cannot really comment on delivery from Argos Online - but the ability to 'click and collect is a definite plus! I've had a couple of small items delivered with no problem at all (via Royal Mail) - as I recall, one of these had been sold out - so they emailed me the second it was back in stock - brilliant, as it was a very popular gift that was sold out again within hours. “Refused a refund!”

I agree!!!!!!!! I will never buy from Argos again I just had the most disgusting customer experience from the manager at the Cumbernauld branch. I bought a TV after Xmas in the sale, as soon as I plugged it in I was not happy with the picture or sound so promptly returned to the box with original undamaged packaging - like you this product is returnable in their catalogue, web, receipt and was not advised in store at time of purchase?????? However as I plugged it in it is classed as 'used' mmmmmmm how do we know if its any good unless we switch it on??? Like you I will not just leave this between that and the conduct of the so called manager I am disgusted with their service - never again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolute disgrace. Was promised on ordering that the product would be delivered on release day. No sign of it 2 days after release day. Rang customer services numerous times only to be passed around from one to the other. None of them care. None of them know what to tell you. Left on hold for ages.
