I have had the misfortune to visit two different Argos stores recently , what a farce . Apparently the new voice system that the counter assistants use is having a "FEW TEETHING PROBLEMS" , NOW THERES A SURPRISE!"!. The queue of customers were getting frustrated , i waited over 15 mins after my order was called , no goods appeared . “Rubbish delivery service”

Had to wait 3 weeks for bedroom furniture as wasn't in stock. Was given a date and time of delivery. Waited in all day (12pm -6pm). By 5.30pm had heard nothing so called them with my order number, only to be told that they still didn't have the stock! Was never going to be sent out, no phone call from them, no apology absolutely nothing. Emailed a complaint and surprise surprise no response from that either. I will not be buying from Argos online again, as if you don`t check the small print, you will be enrolled on an programme, which your card details will be passed onto a company shopperdisc.co.uk, and £10 will be taken from card every month. They can also take money out of your card account if the card has expired. I am £20 down. I know many don`t check the small print. All they want to do is purchase the item(s). “4 MONTHS & STILL NO SOFA'S!”

Argos, the worst on line shopping/customer experience ever! Ordered a Sofa Set in November 2013 in time for a pre Christmas delivery and the order has been cancelled for the 3rd time. I ordered several items in the sale, from a range of bedroom furniture. At this point i was told the smaller pieces would need to be delivered seperatley, there was not even an option to get different deliveries on the same day. I couldnt commit to so many delivery days so picked up the smaller items in store and emarbked on the (long) wait for the remaining items. “pushy sales women forces care”

I went to a branch in Aberystwyth wales. I was taking back a satnav that I had bought a year before. Initially very impressed , email to say I would receive a call re delivery , call received advising Sunday between 7am and 6pm. “Argos now delivers by helicopter patiently”

Ordered a tv from Argos to be delivered to my brother's address as I couldn't get time off. My heavily pregnant sister-in-law waited the entire 13 hours and it didn't arrive. They live in an apartment block so any delivery needs to be buzzed in by the relevant apartment. “Inefficient and unreliable company”

I've had 6 weeks of problems with Argos after a Bush cooker my landlord bought from them went faulty. (Side note - there were several delivery no-shows from Argos before we even managed to get the cooker in the first place.) “fridge freezer replacement ”
