My Numatic Henry doesn't stop working. I purchased a Dyson a few years ago;liked it's style and approach to the no bag thing. However it was always a complete pain, always blocking up, too fiddly, messy when you emptied the container, expensive to replace filters etc. Went back to to a Henry, use it in our house, excellent, use it for valeting cars, excellent, use one a work, even the staff cant break it like all the cheap ones we have tried. Even the aircraft cleaners at our local airport use… Read Full Review

The Numatic Henry us awkward to use, base unit catches on things and tips easily, cleaner head drags badly on carpet, a very hard clean. I threw mine away even though in working order as I found it so unpleasant to use… Read Full Review

I LOVE MY HENRY! I have had him for 21 years now and he has NEVER gone wrong. If you empty him often then the suction is always very good. I do not even use bags in mine and never have, I just empty the bucket! I have to admit that I have bought a Dyson in the past - because I wanted an upright, but after problems etc I missed Henry so he is back in the house and going very strong! I run a Pub too and we have one there - need I say more?… Read Full Review

Henry is such good value for money, when I first owned him I had an old Edwardian house and he was great for heavy cleaning. I now tend to keep him for heavier type of work as I find in my modern house I use an upright. so I have retired him a little as I must have him 20 years!!!… Read Full Review

My Numatic Henry keeps heating up and powers off - just bought it new in late March and its early September now! Powers off after its been on for 5-10 minutes. It's only about 6 months old. I am told by a repair person it is the heat sensor / someone else said - does not have heat sensor… Read Full Review

I don't like the Numatic Henry. It's hard to keep taking it up and down the stairs because its too big, plus it lacks of power. You can get a cheaper vacuum for much less and bigger power i.e. 2400w's!… Read Full Review

I've had my Henry for 18 years now and its never missed a beat. Apart from a faulty switch which cost £2.50 and about 10mins to replace. As long as you replace the bag when it starts to get full and put the filter in the washing machine every 6 months or so, suction will stay as strong as ever. I went from laminate to thick carpet so I bought the Airobrush attachment for around £25 and now Henry works just as good as any upright vacuum on carpets.

I've had my Henry for 18 years now and thought that I had to comment on what a great little vacuum this is. The only problem I've ever had was a faulty switch which cost £2.50 and about 10 minutes to replace. As long as the bag is changed regularly and the filter is put in the washing machine every 6 months or so, suction stays as strong as ever. My Henry gets used everyday not only for general vacuuming but also for tougher stuff like DIY and cleaning the cars out and he's never missed a beat… Read Full Review

The Numatic Henry is a fantastic vacuum, my dyson doesn't hold a candle to this little trojan. Picks up everything, even lifts the carpet a little! Easy transition from carpet to hard floor. Amazing, don't waste money on anything else, go for a Henry… Read Full Review

While ok to start with the suction on this henry has faded significantly since purchase. Not my idea to buy it I have found that when using them in other workplaces the same has happened. Was assured that this was due to operation without bags but have ALWAYS used a bag with this one and the same problem has occurred. Fine if you are happy buying a new vacuum evey 6 months but I'd choose a
Dyson every time… Read Full Review

We ended up with this, after my dad brought it home when these Henry hoovers they had bought at work were made redundant. So we ended up with a brand new Henry for nothing.
He doesn't dissapoint, hes very powerful, even on thick carpets, removes the lint off a new carpet better than a cyclonic vax does and that is supposed to be more powerful with a brushbar!
Henry has a large range of tools, enough that you'd need, and they are high quality, rather than filmsy plastic you'd find elsewhere. The… Read Full Review

Hi there, we go through vacuums like they're going out of fashion.
Dysons and all the rest forget them, get a henry, they are the best. All ways happy to help me, he's so powerful yet so quiet, we have only had him two days and he's quiet full must be the dirt out of the carpets. He's good for doing cars too. He comes with 5 dust bags as well all for '£99.96 at Argos… Read Full Review

Had this little vacuum cleaner for about 2 and a half years. It's brilliant. Never let me down, sucks up anything and goes onto any surface. Light to pick up for stairs and small to store. Comes with all sorts of attachments for corners, delicate items etc.
The only downside is that, unlike something like a dyson, it doesn't have a rotating brush. This means it doesn't really get into the pile of the carpet that well. I'm debating whether to get something with a rotating brush as a… Read Full Review
