Just an honest to goodness basic vacuum, feels solid and as free from unecessary features should last for years, beats the bagless cleaners we have tried into a cocked hat… Read Full Review

By far the best, most reliable and most powerful pound for pound vacuum cleaner on the market. Dyson, Meile, Hoover and other manufacturers pale into insignificance by comparison.
If you have £100 to spend on a new vacuum - buy Numatic - buy Henry! Don;t be fooled by marketing speak found with other lesser brands… Read Full Review

Am not at all impressed with Numatic Henry . It's far heavier and more cumbersome than my previous hoover, especially on stair cases. The tubes do not fit together properly, stiff to pull apart and floppy when in use. Takes far too much physical effort to change attachments. Topples over easily. Hose pipe is too long so body gets left miles behind and caught around things. Low power is virtually useless. Carpet brushes are way too stiff so its hard to push along the surface. Hope it soon… Read Full Review

I was given the pink (Hetty) version of this hoover for Xmas by my daughter and I daren't tell her how much I hate it! She said oh they're fantastic for picking up cat hairs which is why I wanted one. It's rubbish. It pushes the cat hairs round the room so you have to use the nozzle end (backbreaking work) to get up stuff it can't cope with, and it's too flipping heavy. I'm going back to my old one as at least it was lighter to move around… Read Full Review

Over the years have had the lot including the overhyped, overheavy, overpriced Dyson (the worst cleaner ever used).
Henry replaced it and it's the best ever, practical, efficient, easy to use, durable - just about to add a Hetty - with look they'll mate and I'll never need to replace any (LOL)_.
Seriously, 100% recommendation - have already had a number of friends buy and all are happy.
I'd seen it for years and never imagined it was such a great little workhorse, covers every surface with… Read Full Review

I purchased my Henry well over 20 years ago,it has had to contend with dogs, children mud,DIY, builders and everything else. Henry cleaned it all up
without any fuss. But alas this morning poor Henry Spluttered and coughed to a standstill I MUST REPLACE AT ALL COSTS !!! I have recommended Henry to
every one who cares to listen about the "Mean cleaning machine"… Read Full Review

I am a graphic and product designer and designed HENRY for the Numatic company around thirty years ago when I lived in England. It has been a huge success and sold throughout the world. I am very proud of Henry, not only does it clean well but it is very compact and people love the way this little character folows them around the house.

This is a seriously powerful and reliable machine. Having bought my first house, I've been undertaking quite a bit of DIY and creating a fair amount of mess in the process :-) ! Henry is a legend. He hasn't complained at all about being fed rubble, sawdust, plaster or brick dust and has helped to keep my home clean and tidy. I only use Hepaflo bags with my machine. I once cleaned up a load of dust after sanding down a ceiling with paper bags installed, and they let through a lot of dust onto… Read Full Review

Henry Vacuum cleaner. Forget about Dyson: you get a design compromise on every single model. The fact they keep feeling the need to change it, says a lot! The Henry has a very simple build so there is very little to break or go wrong - even if it falls down the stairs. No gimmicky extras like automatic card winders (which always break). Suction is excellent, they're easy to manoeuvre - even under furniture - and the cord is REALLY long so you don't need to keep moving plugs. The bag capacity… Read Full Review

I had my last Henry for 23 years and felt I needed a change. After reading reviews of various makes I decided to stick with a Henry. Am I disappointed - no. I went for a change of colour, but the Henry is just as good. It is now easier to pull around, has a wind up the cord, is quieter than my old model and it now has an extra boost button. It can cope with being bounced off the paintwork, attacked by the dog, sat on by the kids and it still does a good job. How could I ever thought of… Read Full Review

Dont't be put off by the smiley face - underneath lies a commercial machine, with performance and reliability to match. I will openly admit to being a ham-fisted goon, I have a habit of accidentally damaging things, so decided that a commercial vacuum was what I needed, having broken several domestic models, two of which were Dyson machines - these don't deserve the reputation they have.
No question about it, the Henry is very tough and resilient, will survive being dropped down stairs… Read Full Review

Replaced my Dyson with a Henry after so many parts broke on it, and the tube split. The Henry is in a different league - yes it is quirky, but it does the job well and I love it… Read Full Review

Over the years we've owned every type of Vacuum cleaner, upright and cylinder both cheap and expensive from Dyson to Panasonic to Electrolux to Tesco own Brand. All had one thing in common - an average service life of 12 months . The D*son upright was particularly disapointing ,hugely expensive, over engineered and cumbersome.
The Henry has been with us now for over 5 years , is simple and rugged, has dealt with builders mess in its stride yet has been 100% reliable. Cant comment on service… Read Full Review

Why didn't I buy the Henry Xtra years ago instead of wasting so much money on other vacuums, including a dyson that died after trying to pick up diy debris.
The Turbo /airflo brush is a must especially if you have pets, on the high power setting really works well.
While using it without tools it managed to find a battery that had fallen behind a bedroom unit. Couldn't believe how easily it picked it up.
Brilliant little machine.
