I started using Henry years ago when i used to be a cleaner in a nursing home, we had these a few months after i started working there and they were a huge improvement over the old one which was a Dyson upright vacuum cleaner that was useless, bulky, flimsy and all the attachments kept dropping off even though it wasn't that old. The Henry was so good I recommended it to my mom whose vacuum was on its way out, she ended up buying one and was equally impressed. That was 8 years ago! She still... (read more)

I purchased Naumatic Henry from Amazon and I am truly very happy that I took this decision. I am a person who hates cleaning and dont want to waste time much in cleaning. Also I dont want to spend much money on maids. So after reading many reviews, I decided to purchase Numatic Henry from Amazon, and ahh what an ease of using it. Its just perfect according to my needs and suited my pockets too. (read more)

This is my second henry hoover and whilst i am happy with the way it picks up dust, bits, crumbs ect on BOTH of the henrys ive had the largest end attachment has fallen apart. the 1st 1 lasted about a year so i bought a new hoover this one has lasted 9 months and my local store where i bought it from wont replace it, so unless i want to use one of the different attachments which is not suitable i am going to have to now purchase another hoover which is really annoying. As i said for picking... (read more)

Having wasted £100 on a bagless Electrolux which was the world's worst vacuum cleaner ever, it was a delight to get a Henry.... sure it's a bit cheesey but I still smile when I use it and the bag takes an age to fill.... and so much less messy than emptying a bagless cleaner into the dustbin. It's basic but pretty foolproof, it has good suction and moves around easily...the length of hose is good. The only minor gripe is the basic accessories but they're ok I guess....just a bit basic and... (read more)

I bought Henry after looking in Cyprus for a good vacuum cleaner and the prices were silly. I bought Henry online and had it delivered after reading all the reviews. Its great - powerful suction, it's bags are huge and you don't have to change every five minutes and they are cheap to replace. Long lead so I don't have to keep taking the plug out. All in all probably the best cleaner I've had and the best bit my 4 sons think Henry is cool and are happy to use him and hoover their... (read more)

I bought a Henry vacuum to replace our current Miele vacuum. The Miele is 7 yrs old, and although the motor is working fine, the door to it has come off and the attachments have been falling out - so I decided it was time for something different. I have affectionate memories of Henry, since the cleaners at my primary school used to use one and so he reminds me of my old school and my childhood. I read lots of reviews on Amazon and on here, and the vast majority of them were excellent, so... (read more)

After working in the hire industry for many years the Henry is the best by far so much that I brought one myself. People that have problems keeping the tubes together just need to push them together harder (I have never had a problem with this).People that say he is not powerful enough,it does have bag's that need replacing or it is not put in properly, you MUST use it with a bag. It pick's our white dog hair's up with ease. I have never seen a major problem with this machine (I have been... (read more)

I have found the Henry Vacuum Cleaner by Numatic International to be UNSAFE and difficult to use. I would like to emphasize UNSAFE! The long attachments DO NOT fasten together with proper knobs and catches and ALWAYS COME APART when in use. I would like to emphasize ALWAYS! They have been like this from new out of the box and I have been injured on numerous occasions when the long extensions just fall away and disconnect from each other WHILE vacuuming with the chrome/stainless steel... Numatic HVR200A HENRY A1 Bagged Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner plus Kit A1, Red/Black
Cost £95 plus P&P
This cleaner was bought by my daughter with whom I live as our old cleaner (a very good one, actually, had come to the end of its useful time). She had been told how powerful HENRY HOOVERS ARE! Yes, they are and that is all that is good about it.
I hate it, it is far, far TOO HEAVY, CUMBERSOME AND DIFFICULT TO PULL AROUND. The flexible pipe is very much too long as well, getting in the way,... (read more)

My review of the HVR-200A
I am sure I am not alone with this. - I had carpets with Dyson Upright Vacuum (hey, that's probably half the population then) The Dyson cleans well, but it is cumbersome and heavy, especially when you only have small to medium sized rooms, and it's a swine to carry it up/down stairs. I do like uprights and would not have a cylinder cleaner for carpets, full stop.
However, I changed over completely to laminate floors and sweepers are only good for crumbs. A friend... (read more)

Just an honest to goodness basic vacuum, feels solid and as free from unecessary features should last for years, beats the bagless cleaners we have tried into a cocked hat. (read more)

By far the best, most reliable and most powerful pound for pound vacuum cleaner on the market. Dyson, Meile, Hoover and other manufacturers pale into insignificance by comparison.
If you have £100 to spend on a new vacuum - buy Numatic - buy Henry! Don;t be fooled by marketing speak found with other lesser brands. (read more)

Am not at all impressed with Numatic Henry . It's far heavier and more cumbersome than my previous hoover, especially on stair cases. The tubes do not fit together properly, stiff to pull apart and floppy when in use. Takes far too much physical effort to change attachments. Topples over easily. Hose pipe is too long so body gets left miles behind and caught around things. Low power is virtually useless. Carpet brushes are way too stiff so its hard to push along the surface. Hope it soon... I was given the pink (Hetty) version of this hoover for Xmas by my daughter and I daren't tell her how much I hate it! She said oh they're fantastic for picking up cat hairs which is why I wanted one. It's rubbish. It pushes the cat hairs round the room so you have to use the nozzle end (backbreaking work) to get up stuff it can't cope with, and it's too flipping heavy. I'm going back to my old one as at least it was lighter to move around. (read more)

Over the years have had the lot including the overhyped, overheavy, overpriced Dyson (the worst cleaner ever used).
Henry replaced it and it's the best ever, practical, efficient, easy to use, durable - just about to add a Hetty - with look they'll mate and I'll never need to replace any (LOL)_.
Seriously, 100% recommendation - have already had a number of friends buy and all are happy.
I'd seen it for years and never imagined it was such a great little workhorse, covers every surface... (read more)
