Crosman also makes this same model in the .177 calbier for those who were wondering. I'm very pleased with the one I own, it has power enuf' to take along when one goes hunting or using it for a backup gun. I do recommend this pistol to any one who wants an overall good target/back up hunting pistol ...

The Crosman 2240 is a .22 cal CO2 single shot pistol. Price is about $45 US dollars. It launches a .22 caliber pellet at an honest 460fps for about 45 shots before you need to replace it's CO2 bottle. My son dispatched a cottentail from about 15 yards the first time firing it. The front & rear si ...

Love the way the Crosman 2240 feels even though it's a single shot. Don't think I would have liked it better if it was repeater. It's too much fun and the stock pistol is totally cool. No mods for me! Couldn't tell you "bang for buck", but just having it for target shooting is way amusing.

This gun is not to be missed, It's cheap, powerful, accurate and long ranged. I cant use any technical terms about exactly how fast it goes but i use completely flat pellets and they will go through a peice of wood 3/4 of an inch thick. Imagine with pointed pellets. It's not just a plinking gun, it ...

This Crosman 2240 has to be the best value of any CO2 pistol on the market. It also is hands-down the easiest to customize and has almost infinite possibilities. I currently own 4 of these in different configurations (and plan to buy a 5th). Barrels can be easily changed with Crosman's 2250 and 2260 ...
