I've have my Crosman 2240 for a couple of years now, both the "Ratcatcher" rifle and this pistol version. Both are the same, just a longer barrel on the rifle version.

Great shooters with sufficient power, but watch out for those cheap plastic sights and the even cheaper plastic breech assembly. ...

Had the Crosman 2240 5 days and can't stop using it, rifled barrel too for accuracy, only use Crossman 2240 products or it may not last as long as you want it to, a pistol this good deserves only the best.

Haven't got my Crosman 2240 yet but shot a friends who lives next to me on the right side house because he likes it there. With his gun I killed so many chucks it was funny! It works twice was good on them as my 7mm wsm. I can blow there gut out at 300+ yard because I'm a good shoot with the 220 swi ...

I was impressed with the Crosman 2240 air pistol from the moment I opened it. Looks great, shoots great, and is very accurate. Plus, the added power of a 22 caliber. I added a scope, decreased the tension on the trigger and added some costume wooden grips. WOW!!!

I just bought this Crosman 2240 on Jan 28 2005. Out of the box is so exciting since the price is so good. First test the power on a piece of wood and it's not bad at all. The barrel was a bit loose but no big deal tighten them up and so the rest of visible screws while I'm at it. Now adjusting the r ...

I have had my Crosman 2240 for about 7 months. This is a true diamond in the rough and anyone with minimum skills can quickly and easily modify it to fit their needs.

I found the 2240 unmodified to be a very adequate gun for target and plinking. My only complaints are the sights and it's noise. L ...

I got my Crosman 2240 at Canadian Tire for $69.00 in June 2001. The co2 is good for 40 to 60 shots depending on the temperature. Offhand I can hit a 1 inch circle at 33'/10 meters each time with 2 hands. So far I shot it 3100+ times with no problem at all. I would recommend this pistol to anyone.

I bought the Crosman 2240 about 6 weeks ago. But since I got it I have completely changed it. I put a 24 inch Crosman 2260 barrel on it, The shoulder accessory, A BSA scope, trigger laser, and silencer. I put these things on the day I got it. I'm shooting around 600 fps because of the long barrel. w ...

I have had the Crosman 2240 pistol since Dec 25 2003. Basically, this is a very strong pistol that can become a nice target shooter or bird hunter (yum.. partridge!) Small enough for me to take out fishing in case I see an eating bird.
I fixed the heavy trigger simply by clipping off some of the sp ...
