The Capital One Classic Credit Card is a good way to build up your Credit Rating. They always answer my e-mails, and my credit card came through quickly; and the pin number. The staff at Capital One are always helpful.

To be honest, I was very pleasantly surprised when using my card. I expected there to be non-stop problems like other reviews suggested, and I was very happy to find out there wasn't any!!!

I got the Capital One Classic card just before Christmas when I was in severe financial trouble, and desper ...

The credit limit on the Capital One Classic Credit Card seems rather strange. Mine is £200. My other Visa has a limit of £5000 (I lost my wallet, and I can only use the Capital One card, currently). Why so low? And why can't I actually speak to anyone about it?

I used the card to open a betting account with Blue Square. I was transferring £5 into my betting account and I did this three times. I was then charged 3x £3 cash transactions. I sent an email and they responded by apologising, saying it should have been a purchase transaction, and they ...

I got the card in March 2006 to pay off an October 2006 holiday. Dividing the £2,000 debt with 10 months interest free credit was going to be a simple and easy payment of £200 per month by direct debit, or so I thought. The following month a £20 late payment fee was added to the ...

Their customer service is rubbish. I was going on holiday and wanted to have my card clear when I was away. I called the customer service number and spoke with a customer representative who I could not really understand. She told me I needed to make a payment of £120 to clear my card, which I ...

I had seen adverts for the Capital One Master card everywhere. Deciding on applying for one was easy, as it would only be used in an emergency! I applied and opted for the payment protection plan as well. Interest is 2.248% a month, so it is a nice little earner for the Bank. My limit started at &po ...

I've had my Capital One credit card for a good few years, and in that time I've managed to get my credit back on track.

Firstly, I took the card because of bad credit in the past. I was never great with payment dates etc. Capital One however helped me with this.

The charges for missing payment ...

I would not recommend a Capital One credit card as they are far too keen to slap charges and interest on to your account if you was slightly over the credit limit. Also, when you call customer service you can barely understand a word that they are saying as they don't speak very good English.

CI needed a credit card for things like internet purchases, and at the time Capital One was my only option, and I must agree that if you do have a bad credit history, then this card will help to rebuild it, as long as you make sure you make your repayments on time. It's not as bad as the Vanquis car ...
