The Capital One credit card APR is way too high, and if you go over your limit once, or make a late payment once, then that's it! They'll give you the highest APR they can find, and they will not lower your APR until about a year or so later, which is very unfair.

An item was bought using the Capital One credit card, but the item was not as described, and under section 75 of the credit act they are equally responsible. Even when provided with proof they ignored it without reason.

I have been off work with sickness for a few months and have been paying off what I can on my Capital One Classic credit card. After many phone calls to India the interest is still running away with me.
I live in Sussex, and last week, DONT ASK ME HOW, Capital One rang my daughter asking if I was ...

As an 18 year old, I needed to build my credit rating up. I decided to apply for a Capital One classic credit card to do so. I was given an instant decision online within one minute. After I applied, the credit agreement was sent quickly. Once I sent it back, I received my card a couple of weeks la ...

The Capital One Classic Credit Card is a card for people who have bad credit or very low credit scores. It's rubbish!! They are kind of saying that no one else will touch you, so take it or leave it! watch the interest that Capital One charge with balance transfers, as they deduct purchases before your balance transfer, so you will end up paying interest plus a 2% fee.

The Capital One Classic Credit Card proved to be good for me. My credit rating was absolutely shocking due to shear stupidity when I turned 18 and was like a kid in a sweet shop, my fault but mistakes I paid dearly for with my credit rating. Anyway, I applied for one of their Classic cards on the "w ...

Capital One are very slow to apply payments to accounts, often needing 4 to 5 days to apply credit.
Statements are sent very close to the due payment date, so if you are away, the payment is often late, which is in their favour.
They do supply money back on some credit cards however.
