I bought this Gamo P-800 air pistol in a pack with pellet trap and pellets for €65. I was pleased since the first shot. For shooting at 6 meters this gun is well fitted and the pastic? It feels so massive, that I think if you throw this gun as far as you can, after it it will work without no problems.(nt) the power was low at all. i tried different pellets but i can't reach the velocity of 100m/s. I measured with my self made chrono with RWS Hobby 4.5g: 94m/s. this is about 2 Joule. I... (read more)

Here in Germany you can buy the
Gamo P-800 as new for 40Eu. For the price the gun is really ok.
It is well built, I could use it as a hammer :)
One can shoot everything that fits the barrel, put a bit of cooking oil behind the pellet and have dieseling experiments. The accuracy is surprisingly good for this price range but at times the sight needs readjusting. I think is the barrel changing position during reloads; it might be possible to tune it a bit, but I never tried. The power is not... (read more)

Surprisingly the Gamo P-800 was nicely finished for a "plastic" pistol. Its got good balance and is a doddle to load and shoot. Its not as powerful as I initially thought but certainly not under-powered. Target accuracy was good, due I think to its combination of light weight and balance. Great little gun, I totally recommend it. (read more)

Bought my Gamo P-800 as a try-out gun to see if I'd enjoy air gunning as much as I did when I was in my teens. It has certainly re-kindled my interest. It's very well built but the barrel seems to be off centre so the rear sight is turned quite far to the right to compensate. Also rear sight not adjustable for elevation, ok at 10 meters but start having to guess a bit for longer ranges. Another problem is the sight moves by it's self due to recoil so after 20 -30 rounds you have to... (read more)

Nice little pistol for the price £40, I find this pistol nice to hold and light,it shoots a fair distance about 3 to 400 yards but it dosen't seem to be very accurate. I find it difficult to use the sights to improve my shooting its like they move, yes it could be me but I also use a crosman 338 and with this I can shoot a baked bean off the top of a pencil at about 15 feet without hitting the pencil. OK that might not be impressive but I'm 43 and my sight isn't as good as it used to be, I... (read more)

Having my .22 Webley Premiere stolen from my garden shed the P800 had a lot to live upto, but to it's credit the gun feels nice, looks nice and shoots very well with a lot of power, and for the £40 it's a bargain. I would recomend this gun to anyone who wants value for money. It's robust and the power is still there even though it's been fired at least a thousand times. (read more)

I'm not a air pistol or gun lover, but need the gun to protect my property. I use the GAMO P-800 to intimidate any bandits (if the p-800 don't intimidate, my bennelli m1 will take care of it) I have already two pistols a DIANA sp50 that was very inprecise and a bruni leslie, but they have broken due to the use that I give to them. I've had the p-800 almost a year now and she don't give me any problems. So if you want a "pest control" gun very reliable the p-800 is waiting for you. (read more)
