Well i placed an online order for 2 pieces of furniture on a bank holiday Monday and 45mins later no email and nothing on the online tracking. So i called asking if they had received my order to which i got the short reply yes and it will be delivered on your delivery day. 2 days later on the Wednesday still no email or updated order tracking so again i called up and a hour or so later it eventually appeared on the order tracking with my delivery day. “Stock update”

I ordered next day delivery in the store yesterday as they did not have my size. I have just receive a confusing automated message today saying 'delivery today, delivery in the next 2 days'. I called them up 'more money' and they now say I have to stay in all today saturday and now also monday as it will come in 2 deliveries. the trouser suit is coming monday morning at the same time as my interview. “Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy!”

The website is one of the worst I have every used, and I do nearly all my shopping on-line. I have been trying to pay of my account (only 2 items) for over a week now and that doesnt seem possible on-line. I have spent ages trying to contact them. When they transferred by calls I could hear what was said between the call agents - not nice what is said behind your back when your complaining about their service they make you feel like its your fault! “Next to nothing!!!!!!!”

“Don't try buying anything eletracial from them”

March 2012. I have had a NEXT account for about 3 years now. I have been happy with the quality and price for all this time but then it all stops from there. Before this Christmas just gone (2011 Christmas) I was happy with the service given but then I ordered an item which I didn't receive but the delivery man said I had. “Very bad quality of girls clothing”

I got as a present girls Tunika for my daughter. After ONLY one washing (30 dg gentle) I can throw it out. It is totally damaged. The fabric got ripped in armhole. I was totally disappointed. “Very poor service - being charged for items we do no want!”

My partner and I decided to order some curtains and curtain poles online on Next. Later that day, we decided to cancel half of the order as we decided we didn't need these items - they were unneccesary. My partner rang up Next Customer Services phone line and we were told that the items would "try to get cancelled, however it may be too late as they may have already been dispatched". “Shocking, disgusting service! Wish I`d never bothered!”

In the process of setting up a new home I ordered 3 pairs of curtains for my living room. One pair of the 3 had clearly already been returned due to damage as there was a green damage card in the package. I phoned and complained and had another pair sent out and the damaged pair collected by courier. “Would avoid at all cost”

Never have written a review before but im so unimpressed with the whole ordering process that i have decided to write one. firstly setting up an account with them is just simply dodgy. have been purchasing goods online for years but never have come across such a tricky and greedy attitude before. they give your account a credit of 250£ and sent you the goods even if you dont pay for them, then they charge your account with crazy intrest. “Poor customer services”

The first and probably the last time I order from next on-line as they unable to guarantee delivery by the specific time requested so makes it impossible to schedule anything. Spoke to customer services to discuss this and were unhelpful and told me to wait until the end of the day. I can't believe how cut throat Next online are. They expect you to pay for each catalogue (Next directory) they send then if you close your account they demand that you send the directory back to them even though you own it! If you set up an account with them online they send you a catalogue whether you want one or not then they give you credit like a credit card and charge extortionate interest rates if you don't pay your full balance each month. Lampshade ordered was dumped outside my flat without me signing for it....this has happened before and items went missing - advised them not to do this. It took over 8 weeks to get my account refunded.....latest item is now lost and have to wait for investigation...... “Rubbish Customer Service”

I bought 2 items, one from the sale which was a pair of Fly London wedge sandals and a pair of boots. The boots were fine BUT I got sent a crappy pair of flat pink ugly sandals, nothing like what I'd ordered and paid for. When I rang them, of course it was a call centre in India and they weren't willing or able to send me the right item telling me it was no longer available and all they could do was refund me. I ordered some clothes from the Next website and selected delivery for a Saturday, giving them almost a week to arrange delivery.
