I am delighted with my Donnay slammer II 9.5 deg. driver. I payed only £25 for it from Lillywhites. I find it to be fairly forgiving especially as I am a beginner, it splits the fairway with most drives and you get a satifying little 'ting' when you hit the sweet spot which frankly is pretty b ...

There's a big debate about cheap golf clubs and ecspensive golf clubs and whether a good golf club will make a not so good player good!Or a cheap driver will take you backwards. I do believe a good driver can help you and sometimes 'cheapies' don't work, but, if you're a useless golfer and decide to ...

I bought my Donnay Driver (adult size) set with 3 woods, 9 irons, a bag with hood, 4 head covers, tee holder with tees and green markers for £130 from Sports Soccer just outside Leeds. I had been shopping around all the usual places (stores, internet auctiond etc.) for ages and haven't seen a ...

I've been playing golf for quite a while now, but i'm really still a beginner. My first real set of clubs were in the Donnay Evolution set, which I find to be a good set of clubs, as I say I'm a begginner, so I don't know if they're stitable for experts, but both my dad and myself use these and I th ...

I wanted to take up golf a while ago but was put off by high golf club prices, then I saw the Donnay Evolutions. These clubs are absolutely fantastic for the new comers. They are very inexpensive (irons £10 & woods £15) and they actualy hit really well with a nice large sweet spot. They ...

Having owned three sets of clubs in my golfing lifetime I thought I would give these £100 Donnays a try. After all, if they were not up to much I could sell them on at half-price and lose out on the equivalent of one round of golf. I tried them and over the first three rounds I shaved 8 stroke ...

Ok, so it's not the longest, or the stiffest driver out there, but it looks ok, I can hit it pretty far considering and it costs anywhere from ten to twenty pounds ( or one twentieth of an end-of-line wilson deep red 365 ). If you are considering taking up golf, I recommend the Doonay ProEvolutions ...

I have to disagree with Happy Hacker. I saw him hit a golf ball further with this club than his won more expensive one.
Power is effortlessly transferred through to the ball and if Andrew Davies leaves it in a bin somewhere it doesn't really matter.

Appalling golf club - although if you fit a reel to the grip, the shaft is whippy enough to mak a good fishing rod.

    DON'T BUY CHEAP GOLF EQUIPMENT
