There are actually left hand grips available for the IZH-46M, which should make some of the lefties happy. For araound $125.00 additional you can pop the left hand grips on and your in business, no gunsmithing required.

I just got my IZH-46M this week and I love it! My Izzy was a great re-introduction to airguns (I hadn't shot an air gun in something like 25 years, however I have been an avid handgun competitor). The accuracy of the Izzy is remarkable for the price. After using Mr. Dremel on the grip, I've been pro ...

I recently purchased the Baikal IZH-46M and tried it out. At first glance the pistol is very well made and engineered. However the next thing you notice when you hold it in your hand is that the grips are too bulky. The best thing is to contour them to your own taste and feel.
    Shooting the IZH-46M ...

You have to understand that I'm an accuracy freak (long-time varmint hunter). The Izzy, Baikal IZH-46M(from Pilkguns) was in the bull right handed right out of the box. After installing a gorgeous set of premium walnut left hand grips (Steve Corcoran of BloodRed Bows, Gainesville, TX), I played with ...

Baikal IZH-46M - I'm over 60, & still enjoy shooting. I received the full kit, nice case, and red dot scope. Very accurate smooth trigger. Customizing the wood grip with sand paper made it more comfortable. The red dot site adds about 1/2 lb to a gun that is already heavy toward the muzzle and I fou ...

I purchased my Baikal IZH-46 after being loaned one at a local airgun club practice session. I came with a Beeman P-1 and was immediately impressed by the quality of pistols used by the other shooters. The senior man of the club let me use his '46 for the afternoon. That evening I ordered my '46 fro ...

I received my Baikal IZH-46M yesterday in the mail, my first impression was "wow, this is a large pistol!". The grip does feel bulky, it feels like holding a 2x4, but being a Dremel guru, this isn't going to be a problem much longer.
At the range (aka backyard): Cocking and loading the pistol is qu ...

The Baikal IZH-46M is a great pistol to introduce a shooter into the world of match shooting.

Out of the box this pistol shot better than any other pistol I've used so far. With targets ranging from 10M out to 35M I was able to hit all my plinking cans and steel targets with a double handed hold ...

I was very disappointed when I received my Baikal IZH. It is a Stone age gun. Had shot around 500 rounds total with a BB gun prior, so I am a beginner. If you had ever studied obsidian arrowheads you will find many things to be impressed about, but today's razors seem to have put those out of busine ...

I have had this Baikal IZH-46M air pistol for about a month now.
This pistol is more accurate at 20 yards or less the any of my rim or center fire pistols.
With a red dot scope on it is almost imposable to miss whatever you are aiming at.
I love the one pump open and close charging.
    I shoot this ...
