“I bought a Siemens M35 because I needed a new mobile...”

Written on: 30/09/2001 by Guru. (1 review written)

I bought a Siemens M35 because I needed a new mobile phone, but didn't want to go the Nokia route (everyone and his dog has a Nokia). The M35 does (almost) everything I want, I even persuaded a friend to buy a C35 after he tried my M35. The standard battery lasts me for 5 days. Just about the only fault, is only having space for one user ringtone at a time… Read Full Review

“This phone is recommended for the (ever-growing) group...”

Written on: 22/08/2001 by Aquila. (1 review written)

This phone is recommended for the (ever-growing) group of people who feel saturated by the fault-ridden, teenage-infested, globally dominating brand of Nokia.
The M35 is currently available in two designs: Navy blue or Yellow. The latter admittedly looks like a bionic banana. However it still sports an attractive design with one of the best button layouts I have seen.
Most teenagers may be disappointed by the lack of support for downloadable ring-tones and interchangeable covers. But Siemens… Read Full Review

Written on: 28/08/2001

I strongly agreed with this comment. I have one M35i and I'm not very happy with its functions. But I like it and if it's possible to strengthen battery, remove T9, add some more ringtones and have more optional cover colors, M35i will be one of the best value mobile phones in the world!

I find the T9 quite useful, my battery life is quite good, about 4 days. it has some really cool features like the auto key lock, the auto phone off, and it's quite strong, it's also water resistant, i once poured a glass of water on the phone purposely to test it and nothing happened, it still works fine, i just love it

Written on: 01/08/2001 by MAX. (1 review written)

This cell phone is definately not for people who want to show off new ring tones, logos and covers!
Although you can make your own animations with a software for the phone, some group logos and one free space for composing your own ring.

The phone is suited for people who will have some use of the excellent personal memo remiding functions.
A uni student for example or a business person who doesn't need the full extent of the tech functions.
Excellent for labours and people who are very… Read Full Review

Written on: 16/06/2001 by tatok. (1 review written)

I had high expectations of the Siemens M35i, and I am very pleased to say that it has lived up to my expectations.

It is incredibly durable, and well designed. I have used many other mobile phones (including the Nokia 3310, 7110, 3210 and 8210, as well as the Ericsson T28 and Philips Savvy DB) and this is by far the most solid one I have encountered. Certainly I would prefer it to all of the other phones I have mentioned.

The display is smaller than many rival WAP phones, and there is a… Read Full Review

Well, trust me. The sound quality is really bad. On many occasion I was having problem listening to my sales prospect and resulted in lost sales. This is definitely not a phone for those involved in a sales career.

my old phone was a nokia (the analog type). When my brother got a Siemens C25 I wanted to buy one too but when I went malling with my friend I was given a brochure & I saw how cool the M35 model was. I was really psyched up, so when I was given the chance to buy a new phone I never had second thoughts about buying the phone. My friends used to think only Nokia phones were the only coolest phone on the planet but when they saw my new Siemens M35 it changed everything. I was proud & I had fun… Read Full Review

I don't agre about the shock resistance features:i think i drop it 5 or 6 times and the phone still works like in the first day. It is true that some time after dropping the phone the SIM card is not stable and you must open and put again the SIM card into the phone.

I bought the phone thinking it would be good because I had the old siemens c10 and was happy with it but I was really disappointed with the siemens M35. It has so many useless gimmicks, like the predictive text which is more frustrating than it's worth and you have to turn it off each time you want to write a text message. Is there really any need for a chronometer and all those games? I didn't like that cancel and ok were all on the same button. It can't store many text messages. The internet… Read Full Review

The T9 fetures can be disabled only once for all messages. Sometimes navigating the menus is a little annoying but not so different by other phones. Not everybody needs all the features of this phone but this depends by each user.

Written on: 02/04/2001 by Hrvoje. (1 review written)

I actually decided to buy this phone because one of my friends bought it and I liked it's design so much I decided I had to have it. So, a week later I sold my old phone (Siemens S25) and bought this baby and I can tell you, it was the best buy I made in quite a long time.

Why is this you ask? Where do I start? It has such a great design (by the way I bought the grey-black one) I just couldnt take my eyes of it for a week. It's stylish, small, light, and fits into any pocket perfectly. I mean… Read Full Review
