One of my first guitars had to be a Les Paul Standard. Back in 1999 I tried many guitars in several stores, and I happened to find a very nice Epiphone standard in black.

A few days later I returned to the store to buy a case, and I met the sales assistant who once showed me this guitar. He was ...

Epiphone Les Paul Standard: Several reviewers have suggested replacing Epiphone's pickups with Dimarzio or Seymour Duncan units. Some of us lack the ability to do this. An alternative is to experiment freely with effects units. Most guitarists own several (I have an Alesis QuadraVerb); try your gui ...

If you can't afford the real thing( and many of us cannot) the Epiphone Les Paul Standard guitar is pretty good. It is crafted very nicely with a solid finish and sound hardware and decent pick-ups. The body is a bit soft ...becareful after you've had a few beers...it dents and scratches easily. Th ...

The Epiphone Les Paul Standard is an overall good ax but has some problems with quality. I dont like the way it sounds when put up against a real true Les Paul. I am an owner of both of these guitars. I like the looks of the epiphone but it still remains a cheaper version of the real deal. The ...

Better stick with the Korean Les Pauls! If it's from China stay away, they may look nice but it's all about the sound baby!

The Epiphone Les Paul Standard guitar is great for a veriaty of music, which is great for me becuase I play blues, classic rock, rock, and reggea. If your an intermediate to pro you should get this axe. It is a much better priced than it's unresonable priced cousin. But if you have 4,000 dollars to ...

The Epiphone Les Paul Standard is a really excellent mid-priced high quality guitar. This is a heavy piece of wood when you compare it to a Fender or a Paul Reed Smith, but all the density of the material really helps the twin humbucker pick-ups sing. Plugged into a Marshall (not a Fender Frontman ...

The Epiphone Les Paul Standard is a great looking guitar and is amazing value for money, the neck is a great size and my idle and fav guitarist Tom Delonge use to use one like this, sounds amazing through a frontman amp.

The Les Paul Standard from Epiphone is a great guitar with great tone and playablity, the neck is just the right size. Aside from the fact that it looks great, its very light weight for its size, and the low action makes soloing even easier. Although it doesn't have a tremelo bar (which can be easil ...
