I have a credit with Asos which I cannot spend because I do not have a credit or debit card. If you want to give someone vouchers, you will need to check that they have a credit or debit card first. You don't have to do this if you use a more efficient company like Psyche (who also deal with queries by immediate return) Its no wonder Asos are giving profit warnings… Read Full Review

I’m sorry you’re having trouble using your gift voucher. The reason for a credit/debit requirement is in case your voucher doesn’t cover the full purchase amount. If your order value is less, then no action will be taken from the card. If you don’t have access to either card we’d be happy to refund you. I've ordered a pre paid debit card which I don't want and which has cost me money so I will carry on and in future use companies that accept a voucher as a payment method and you just accept that as a limit to be spent (ie every company but yours).

I never did get a response to my email sent 9 days ago by the way.

Why would I compare walking into a shop to buy something off a rack with shopping online.
I won a credit with Psyche for £250 and they could not have been more helpful. No credit or debit card details necessary (as is the case for every other site for which I have been given vouchers - which is the point of giving them).
I used Psyche as a comparison as it is the only other time I have used an online credit to buy clothes. I have also used credits with Amazon and they also dont require credit or debit card details.
No, I am not rich. I am on a pension which goes into a post office account and I have not had a credit or debit card for at least ten years. This has not be a problem with any other company and I simply dont need one.
You could just ask a question rather than going straight to being obnoxious. I suspect you work for Asos and are trying to undermine a negative comment. There is no way that a dealer would benefit from my comment and I can see no other reason for you to make it.

Similar thing happened to me.
First time i ordered was this bikini top nd i received it on time BUT with the straps missing so had to return it via mybybox and received a new order with the straps and they offered me a refund, which im not sure i received.
Then i wanted to order again, two items.
Received them both. Tried on the pants, didnt fit.
Ordered new size. That size is out of stock. Fml
Asos has awesome clothes, however the service suuuuuuuuucks. And material is ok.
For gods sake, why do all the things i love go out of stock and why is the shipping so difficult( unless using mybybox).

“Asos is a great market place for clothing but their...”

Asos is a great market place for clothing but their own brand is of terrible quality. After buying a dress in a size 4 and not physically being able to get it on as it had no zip and was purely elastic I ordered a size 6. This I could not get on either, it had the worst elastic round the middle and I doubt anyone would be able to physically get it over their shoulders. “Awful customer service”

I love ASOS, I shop there all the time and I still will but their customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. When you try to get in contact via email they are adamant that you catagorise your question which, most of the time, ends in them giving you the answer they think you need and not telling you any other contact options. “Never Received My Item!”

I online shop regularly and have never had an issue ordering, tracking, and receiving shipments. This was my first experience shopping with Asos and I ordered one item and opted for 2-day express shipping. An order confirmation and shipment confirmation email were sent to me; however, I never received my item and it is now close to 2-weeks late.

“Got cheated on ASOS returns”

I returned more than half the items in May, but when I got my return confirmation, only some of the items were listed, and one of the items I didn't return was listed as a return. If anything happens like this you can always contact our customer care team. We're always on hand to aid you when you need it. I appreciate that you contacted us straight away about this. But we are really busy right now and may take a little longer getting back in touch with you. But we will aways get to you and help you out with anything! When making a return we always recommend grabbing a copy of your returns receipt. This will your proof of return. As a return is your responsability when you send it back this will proof that t was sent by you. Sometimes when we receive your package we won't process it all at once. It can take up to 72 hours for the whole order/s to get refunded, so it's always best to allow this time to pass. ASOS Scott

Thank you for your quick reply. My return was received on May 10. I waited a few days to see if the rest of my return would be processed, but it wasn't. I contacted the customer care team on May 21. I still haven't heard anything yet. It's been longer than 72 hours, and my refund was already given to me in my bank. I am very worried that there is a $100 discrepancy between what I returned and what I was refunded. Is there a phone number I can call to talk to someone about this?

The thing is you only had 3 items... I remember when I used to buy from them and it would be a certain quantity and a certain budget I would settle for Asos, when it becomes alot because after a while you're going to think that it's the best option, but it's not. I remember they once lost my package, but I was ok with it because every company has their ups and downs, but when you can't answer your customers there is a problem.

“Rips people off”

Asos send emails that are pathetic attempts to engrain a shopping addiction in any potential customer. They prey on students using bright colors in emails in attempt to lure them in when they are tired and crave a bargain. Not only do they send out copious amounts of emails, they also do everything they can to get you to spend money in devious ways. “Dress looked good but shipping sucks”

I ordered my grad dress from asos, a month before my grad. I was told it would arrive by may 9th at the latest,yet it came on the 22nd!! I only have a week not to make alterations which is costing me a lot. The dress looks good tho, exactly like the pictures and it's good quality. Thanks! I was able to send my message on Internet Explorer. I don't understand why I couldn't do it on Google Chrome which is my default browser. It took me a lot of time to figure that my effort to send a detailed message wouldn't work via the used browser. You guys need to check that up! Hopefully, everything will get resolved soon, but in terms of Twitter, I just thought it was stupid that I had to reach you via that thing. We can only use 140 which is silly when you have a serious issue. Keep that in mind. I really do think you guys should have a live chat section.

The reason we use Twitter is because of the fact that it's a massive platform that is used by everyone and is a great way to connect with our customers. You can only send 140 characters at once. Anyway, Thanks Scott... I think the best option would be to get back to the roots: spend less at Asos. For me, it seems like it's the perfect formula, but I know you guys work hard noneless to provide support to us customers. I guess when we encounter a difficulty, we want technical aid right away.

“Where is my order???”

The worst online shopping I've experienced ever! I placed an order on 17 April and the confirmation email said my order will arrive on or before 12 May, and now I'm still waiting! I've written to the customer services but they just asked me to wait and wait, and the worst is they have different people answering my quries every time. Hello, I'm so sorry to hear that your order hasn't arrived yet. I can understand that this can be incredibly frustrating after waiting all this time. I'm also sorry that our customer care team haven't replied to your email. Things are quite busy at the moment but we're working hard to get round to everyone and we'll be with you very soon. We do have different advisors answering your queries at different points, but this is merely due to shift changes. In fact I have written to your customer care team a few times and have provided them with my order number and all they did was ask me to wait. I just want to know how much longer I need to wait and is there other ways you can get this sorted? I'd rather have my money refunded if the order is not going to arrive soon.
