I have not been able to purchase. I am repeatedly told there is a 'technical' issue with addresses in the US and I can not complete the order. Despite having read many negative reviews about ASOS, I still decided to give it a try as I believe its sales items are quite a bargain.
My order arrived Australia within a week via standard courier, they gave me a tracking reference number for the parcel so I was able to track online (status updates daily) to see where it was. Still waiting for an order from ASOS. It was told that package was shipped out on 30/1/09, and expected date of delivery will be 11 working days later 14/1/10. However, my package didnt come on time, so i emailed their customer care. Again they told me to allow another 11 working days for postal delays. there was no tracking number to the parcel. couldnt track where it was. have no idea if its safe. no assurance to your package. Terrible, terrible experiance!
I looked online to see Im not the only one DISGUSTED with their service, asos's customer service doesn't really exist. It's just some fancy wording to cover up the pathetic and dissapointing truth that they don't value their customers.
Some people have ahd great experiances, and great, however word of warning:

I've ordered from ASOS twice now and have had no problems either time (the second time my order was a bit late, but ASOS emailed me regarding it so I was forewarned at least). The one item (out of 6 total) that was the ASOS brand as opposed to designer/warehouse brands is actually not terrible quality like I feared it would be. Absolutely love this website, its so simple to use and had a quick and easy delivery 5 days later.
I buy from asos all the time and have never had a problem my delivery is always on time and its great because you can track it and know exactally what day its coming. All my friends now use it and love it too.

I thought I had found the perfect dress for the winter formal at my school and so my mother and I ordered it. It was supposed to arrive a week after we placed the order... and it didn't. We gave it a couple more days and then we looked up tracking information. The dress was apparently stuck in customs in the UK, which makes no sense. ASOS, RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICES - TAKES YOUR MONEY AND DOESN'T SEND ITEMS - AFTER A WHILE BLAMES CUSTOMER FOR THEIR MISTAKE AND TELLS YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE MONEY BACK, WHICH YOU DON'T GET.
Great website promises quality goods at low cost. In reality they charge your card and don't send the goods. They also do not have a phone number to ring. You have to email, at which point you get an automated response saying they will get back to you within 24hours, which they don't.

Best online shop i use for clothes,
the prices are good, and the makes and products are good aswell,
almost everything i have ordered from them has arrived ontime, sometimes even earlier than expected,
if i didnt like something or it didnt fit, its very easy to send it back (this is free of charge) and the money is back in my account within a few days.
(one order did not arrive "next day" as it shouldve done, but me delivery charges where refunded, and this was the fault of the postage… Read Full Review

By far one of my worst online shopping experiences - I had purchased a shopping voucher which they failed to deliver, they had assured me a refund, but they have failed to to deliver on this.
They seem to have an incompetent workforce who do not have a clue as to what is happening.

Bought cloths for nearly ₤100.00 at the end of October 2009. Today is January 2010, cloths still did not arrive. They advised me that my parcel got lost in post and they tried to post it again but nearly all ordered items were sold apparently. What a time waste shopping!!!!!!!

There is a reason they dont have a phone number. The company knows how horribly inefficient they are and dont want to be swarmed with the complaints. Forget the unhelpful automated response from their "customer service team". Dont waste ur time and energy...ull regret it.

Well, I bought a £100 birthday present of a coat for my partner delivered on paid for next day delivery during Christmas week 2009.
The coat duly arrived - nothing wrong there. Within TWO days ALL 6 of the left hand buttons had fallen off.
We contacted their customer services and they told us that they have no more stock of coat (it was not in their Christmas sale), they will not be getting it back in, and could only suggest that we send it back and buy another style of coat.
