I ordered a dress for a wedding in plenty of time (a 2 week window). The dress was delivered to a previous address despite the system setting my current address. The delivery was sent back to the depot and I was contacted regarding this by ASOS. “Never Received My Item!”

I online shop regularly and have never had an issue ordering, tracking, and receiving shipments. This was my first experience shopping with Asos and I ordered one item and opted for 2-day express shipping. An order confirmation and shipment confirmation email were sent to me; however, I never received my item and it is now close to 2-weeks late. 


I have emailed Asos 3 times regarding my issue and have not received any response. Asos took my money yet never provided me with the item I paid

“Got cheated on ASOS returns”

I ordered a big shipment (~$450 worth of clothes) in April. I returned more than half the items in May, but when I got my return confirmation, only some of the items were listed, and one of the items I didn't return was listed as a return. My refund was $250 instead of $350. I tried contacting them, but there is no easy way to do that on the website. If anything happens like this you can always contact our customer care team. We're always on hand to aid you when you need it. I appreciate that you contacted us straight away about this. But we are really busy right now and may take a little longer getting back in touch with you. But we will aways get to you and help you out with anything! When making a return we always recommend grabbing a copy of your returns receipt. This will your proof of return. As a return is your responsability when you send it back this will proof that t was sent by you. Sometimes when we receive your package we won't process it all at once. It can take up to 72 hours for the whole order/s to get refunded, so it's always best to allow this time to pass. ASOS Scott

Thank you for your quick reply. My return was received on May 10. I waited a few days to see if the rest of my return would be processed, but it wasn't. I contacted the customer care team on May 21. I still haven't heard anything yet. It's been longer than 72 hours, and my refund was already given to me in my bank. I am very worried that there is a $100 discrepancy between what I returned and what I was refunded. Is there a phone number I can call to talk to someone about this?

The thing is you only had 3 items... I remember when I used to buy from them and it would be a certain quantity and a certain budget I would settle for Asos, when it becomes alot because after a while you're going to think that it's the best option, but it's not. I remember they once lost my package, but I was ok with it because every company has their ups and downs, but when you can't answer your customers there is a problem.

“Rips people off”

Asos send emails that are pathetic attempts to engrain a shopping addiction in any potential customer. They prey on students using bright colors in emails in attempt to lure them in when they are tired and crave a bargain. Not only do they send out copious amounts of emails, they also do everything they can to get you to spend money in devious ways. “Dress looked good but shipping sucks”

I ordered my grad dress from asos, a month before my grad. I was told it would arrive by may 9th at the latest,yet it came on the 22nd!! I only have a week not to make alterations which is costing me a lot. The dress looks good tho, exactly like the pictures and it's good quality. Thanks! I was able to send my message on Internet Explorer. I don't understand why I couldn't do it on Google Chrome which is my default browser. It took me a lot of time to figure that my effort to send a detailed message wouldn't work via the used browser. You guys need to check that up! Hopefully, everything will get resolved soon, but in terms of Twitter, I just thought it was stupid that I had to reach you via that thing. We can only use 140 which is silly when you have a serious issue. Keep that in mind. I really do think you guys should have a live chat section.

If this happens again or if you face any sort of issue at all it'll be worth clearing your browser history and deleting your cookies. This should help. The reason we use Twitter is because of the fact that it's a massive platform that is used by everyone and is a great way to connect with our customers. You can only send 140 characters at once. In fact I have written to your customer care team a few times and have provided them with my order number and all they did was ask me to wait. That's why we've made our returns incredibly easy to follow and complete. We do have our ASOS size guide on site which gives you all of the basics when looking for that right size. We also have our Visualizer which can be found above our size guide. This has all of the measurements that you'll need on it. From length, to check and shoulder. Regarding the price difference on our app. The prices between them are the same and we'd never charge you more on one and less on the other. Our app in merely a quicker and easier way to shop on the move, being your number one fashion destination where ever you are. Gayle, its has been 5 working days and I am still waiting. I sent an email from my registered aol account and they don't respond...I email them from my gmail and they reply only to tell me that I need to send an email from my registered aol account. I don't know what else to do....they are purposely avoiding sending out the prepaid mailing label. My next step is to contact my credit card and the better business bureau.

I have finally received aknowledgement that you have received the returned item 11 days after it was returned. Still waiting for the correct goods.The delay is unnacceptable and you have done nothing to change my mind about this company. As for it not being the norm, there are many comments on this site which suggest it is!

We deal with anything that comes into the warehouse within 1 working day and email as soon as we've done it so you know what's going on and you should have received an email letting you know the delivery date for your dress, but, if you have any other queries, please do get in touch. “The worst customer service ever!”

The worst customer service ever! I paid for the express delivery. They use a cheap company to deliver, first point. They didn’t deliver on time, second point. I wrote few e-mails to them, no answer. I called the delivery company, and then fixed with them. Still didn’t get my two dresses for which I paid more than 100 euro. In a meantime I ordered a dress from a different shop and everything was perfect and they delivered within 3 days with the standard rate!!! No extra charges like for ASOS… Read Full Review

I had been a fan of ASOS for a number of years when living in London. Upon moving overseas the nature and lack of customer care became evident in a number of ways: Payment for express delivery of 3 days but order took 6 weeks. Refusal to refund UK taxes as am paying again in Turkey. Incorrect delivery.
