Overall the camera is fine but the points above say it all. I particularly hated the menu structure of the Panasonic GD87(previously Ericssons) and the phone directory scrolling requirement. Roughly 1 in five calls dont connect, it appears to say calling but thats it, it does not connect. If you end the call it displays ended but freezes then. If you leave it maybe after 30 secs it will clear but i dont wait that long and disconnect the battery to reset it. The good thing is i have two ...

One important point - to get the pictures transferred off the phone you can send them by IRDA(infra red) for pictures less than 50K. However you CAN transfer them using the £30 Data cable (MA-8310P)from the Carphone Warehouse. Simply move the pictures you take from the Data Folder/Pictures fol ...

phone to pc ir transfer...- by reading the reviews i can see other people have problems with the Panasonic GD87 mobile phone too!... darn it, if id known i wudnt have bothered.... anyone know whare i can buy a cheap data cable thingy? might as well live with it for a while!

I got a gd87 a week ago. Sending-receiving tones & pics is easy with an IR device (eg MA-620 USB IR adapter). U can also exchange phonebook details in Microsoft's Address Book format (not enough for me...). The problem is that there is no available phone suite for managing the phone's data using IR ...

The Panasonic GD87 has the sharpest colour screen on the market. It's TFT screen helps pictures to be taken in places where it is either to dark or light. It's zoom in is incredible you can take clear pics of builgings which are even 400 metres away.

I have only just bought this Panasonic GD87 the other day and i have not put it down. All I have done is sat takin pictures all the time. I have taken 40 pics and have downloaded one ringtone and i still have 70% of my memeory left, the pictures are very good quailty and i would recomend this phone ...
