This is a nice little fone - It has a lot of nice features such as MMS, polyphonic ringtones and IR - this is very useful for getting files off the computer. Erix is quite a good game, its great fun at the moment. However, i downloaded alien scum and Deep Abyss, both of which are ruined by the unresponsive controls. The phone seems to have trouble keeping up with the rate at which they are typed, this is especially a problem for a speed txter sush as me. The reception is good, the colour... (read more)

I have mixed feelings about the T300 after owning it for six months. It only cost me £20 on an upgrade and my old fone a sony j70 had been fantastic so I stuck with the brand. The phones looks are quite unusual, a little i mac looking tho quite boxy, it appealed to me anyway tho in retrospect the t68i is nicer. The screen is quite low res and is only 256 colour but its a lot prettier than black and green and is fine for colour logos and pretty menus. Although I didn't get a camera... (read more)

I have had this T300 now for about 6 months and it has by far been the best phone i have had (not much compettition) with the clear and cool colour screen and easy cip on camera it makes it one of the best phones around.
The colour screen on the phone is clear and it has many good backgrounds to chose from (56) with the ability to take pictures and add these to the phone and then have them as backgrounds also appealing.
You are able to store up to 55 messages until it is 80% full which is... (read more)

Having read some of the previous reviews it is interesting to note just how wide opinion can be! Just goes to show that one device, what ever it is, can't be everything to everyone! I have just replaced a Panasonic GD67 with this Sony Ericsson T300 mainly because I had dropped it and the speaker was now working intermittently. But I'm very glad I did!
I text a lot and the text system on the T300 is streets ahead of the Panasonic! I like the way it counts down the last 25 characters of the... (read more)

Overall, i'm quite happy with this phone but some things are hard to use. I've had it about 2 weeks and i've only just got use 2 the joystick. The camera is not the best but it doesn't matter for the price. It's well worth the money. Good for people who want a cheap camera phone. (read more)

A good phone only let down by the screen which is an average 256 colour. Now outclassed by other phones, however mine was a free upgrade from a Nokia 8310 and I love it. I also like the unfussy retro look - well good. (read more)

It lies good in the hand but it feels fragile, the battery doesn't clip well which gives me this annoying feeling it will fall out. For Locking/unlocking the keypad instead of one long keypress you need to make three (often more because of the joystick which goes where you don't want to), and I don't want it locked all the time to use auto lock!
Accesing inbox or write SMS is quicker because of numbered menus, but typing the messages is ANNOYING because of long response time to keypress (and... (read more)

After reading reports on this website about the Sony Ericsson T300 being slow, I was a bit dubious about buying it but I'm glad I didn't let that put me off. For the past two years I've had a Nokia 3210 and it's the most reliable phone I've owned. The Sony Ericsson is tons better and if I get bored I can download new games and the polyphonic tones are great. It has multimedia messaging and will store tons of SMS messages at one time. I think its looks are good - not the best around but... (read more)

I've owned my SonyEricsson T300 for 2 months now and i have found it to be a great phone. I was looking for a replacment for my ageing Nokia 3330 and the T300 was very good value for money. For around £150, you get a phone with polyphonic ringtones, colour screen, GPRS, and its compatible with a camera. This phone is pretty much as good as the T68i, but it costs much less, and has features such as polyphonic ringtones which the T68 lacks. The sound quailty and reception is also quite... (read more)

I have had the Sony Ericsson T300 for a month now and I easily get fed up of phones. This one i haven't. The features are endless and even if you are bored of the current applications, it is simple to download new ones. The style of the phone is very nice. Being a retro style. The only problem i had was that it gets scratched very easily so make sure you keep it in a cover. A good point is the screen quality. If you are very technical about phones, you will realise that the phone has less... (read more)

I have had this phone for around 5 days and by now with most phones i have realised what a terrible mistake i have made buying them .. Not with this one ... For the money i have paid i have recieved a phone well worth every penny spent ... Games are great ... Screen is just the right size to show all the info .. not making the phone to big .. I could go on for ever but then i wont be able to play with the phone ... Camera is not that great but then on a phone you don't expect it to be .. you... (read more)

This phone has some great features but having read most of the reviews I can`t believe I`m the ony one saying the build is poor. Particularly the battery which doesn`t clip in very well and gives a "springy" feeling that gets right on my nerves when using.
Battery life is pretty good (compared to some) but another poor feature is its response time to key presses. Polyphonic ring tones are bit quiet too.
Really like the style though but the phone is going back because of the silly way the... (read more)

I bought the T300 hoping for great things and found myself bitterly dissapointed. The phone is a good size and weight, but sadly thats where the good points end. The camera is capable of taking a fair picture but the phones screen res is'nt capable of showing it. The menu navigation if made clumsy by the tiny thumbstick which also hinders the game playing. If you want a phone that does everything then go for one with a good screen and better navigation. (read more)

I used to have a Nokia 8310 before this Sony Ericsson T300. This phone is probably better in that it works, gives reception, doesn't crash! The polyphonic tones are cool too, specially if you haven't had them before. It's not a perfect phone though.
This phone is small, but noticeably chunky compared to the 8310. You can feel it in your pocket! Also the colour screen is just a token gesture to having colour, being only 256 colour. It's not much use at all. The camera is a nice extra if you... (read more)
