HSBC Internet Banking- switch to Nationwide flex account.
I am sad I have to give it one star by default. An abhorent bank, with an unbeliveable amount of red tape in its procedures, while the head is incapable to telling what it's tail is doing!

I've never had a problem with HSBC until now but for the last 2 weeks I have been unable to access my account with the Jersey HSBC offshore. First I have found it difficult to access the log on page. When I do, I can sometimes reach the last part of the log on process, only to lose the connection wi ...

There were not enough staff!! Their opening times are hard for me, as I work full time from 8am until 5pm, so I have to take time off just to get in the bank.

When you phone the HSBC you get someone in India who can hardly speak English, that in itself is not their fault but the banks. After giving as much detail as I could the lady said she would get back to me tomorrow, she didn't for over 1 week, then phoned to say she could not help with my problem. ...

Before the advent of internet banking HSBC was already providing 24x7 access via their telephone banking facility. It was therefore a very painless process for me to apply for their secure and easy to use online service. Also with telephone banking as a back up I don't have to worry if I can't get t ...

I use the HSBC site almost everyday and I've never had any problems at all with it. The main plus for me is that call centre staff have visibility of whatever you do online - i.e. if you change an address online, you don't ring up only to find it needs changing again for offline channels.

    It's h ...

I have held an account with HSBC for over 10 years and never had a problem...until recently. I rang up to cancel a standing order with them, and they for some reason assumed that I only wanted to cancel one payment. This is where the problems started. First month, fine no money gone. Second month, m ...

Took a little while to get set up (but I was on the first list of people to get on the service). Excellent way to manage finances on a real-time basis. Once you use the service you never want to go back - bit like buying a PC (once you have had one you can't imagine life without one - but there are ...

Whilst accessing my HSBC Internet bank account with long numbers can be a pain, you know there is no way someone could guess your access codes.

The service is easy and intuitive, and quite frankly makes paying bills or viewing your transactions a doddle.
