“hidden costs and no sympathy”

ON THE 5TH OF JANUARY 2013 I WAS TRAVELLING HOME FROM ALICANTE. WHEN MY HUSBAND GOT TO THE CHECK-IN DESK WE WERE TOLD THAT WE WOULD NOT BE SITTING TOGETHER. AS A VERY NERVOUS FLYER I WAS HORRIFIED. WE WERE TOLD THAT WE COULD PAY EXTRA TO SIT TOGETHER. WE SPOKE TO A SUPERVISOR AND WERE TOLD THE SAME THING. “The worst airline!”

Don't bother book a flight with Easyjet just to save some money, because really, you pay double.... You have to pay everything even for the seats!!! They don't even offer you a glass of water, their seats are unacceptable(are comfortable for a smurf though) and their service is extremely POOR. I checked in an extra luggage and when I arrived to the airport, I had to pay extra for the weight inside the luggage. Really it's stupid. “Flight cancelled for no reason”

Our children were supposed to be joining us for Christmas in Madeira, but on reaching Gatwick airport were told that all flights were cancelled because of strong winds at Madeira airport. News to us, because although it was a bit breezy in the morning, everything was still by late afternoon. And EVERY flight run by EVERY airline except Easyjet took off and landed as normal. We were on this flight too. It was disgusting service. We were given 2 options ,either to stay at The Hilton till flight left on 26.12.2012 or cancel and a full refund will be given. We chose to cancel ane Easyjet are now refusing to refund us saying it was rescheduled so refunds not being given.Please let us know if anyone heard this and if they remember the Easyjet representives name as we need as much evidence to try and get our money back.

“lots of hidden charges and hotel rating is rubbish”

I booked my holidays to sharm-el-sheikh for the family for 1260 for a 5* hotel and flights. Due to current unrest in egypt, I changed my destination to Tenerife. The cost of the holiday on the day of change was 1050 for the family. Easy jet charged me another £350 and extra charge for transfer. 1. “THE CABIN CREW STOLE ME CASH!!!!”

Lest month I travelled to Bordeaux with EASY JET and on my flight back, apart from my flight being delayed almost 3 hours and I had to miss 1/2 day of work, my biggest dissapointment was the fact that Easyjet STOLE me GBP5.00! What a horror story! Good for you for not offering easyjet to your clients in the future. Unfortunately, you will have to work hard to find alternate flights, as AlItalia doesn't seem to have as many flights.

“cattle crowding”

i printed off my boarding pass, and took the tiniest suitcase i could find ! despite this,having got through the security check in easy enough. the whole thing ground to a halt ! speedy boarding people were struggling to get through the crowd, and others were slipping through and then forced back into the queue. there appeared to be only one person trying to get the crowd through to board, and so we were stuck there for far too long. as a semi disabled passenger, i cant stand for ages, and felt… Read Full Review

“want an unexpected stay at airport!”

Going to Rome, after animal stampede to get a seat was awful but easy jet are going to change hoprfully. Returning plane was delayed for 3 hours, but still had to be at the gate. It would have been common courtesy to be told the reasons why. Instead we were left not knowing what was happening The pilot explained that it was due to flight control over France, but the staff should have informed the PAYING CUSTOMERS way before what was happening,we would have understood. “Best Luggage Allowance With Easyjet”

I have flown many times with Easyjet on the Manchester/ Marrakech route and to be honest i find this airline one of the best. The check in is quick and friendly,there have been no delays, the crew are super friendly and i suppose you could say they provide a little light hearted entertainment. “Customer service the best I have experienced....”

Although the cost of air fares have increased over the past two years which is going to effect us all especially if you have another home abroad. “Ok so far but don't change a booking”

Cheap flights....are basically all you get with EasyJet. Anything else is an added extra. This suits me fine, but only for short haul flights. I find it possible to go on a long weekend trip with only a small hand luggage suitcase. If you are looking for some comfort then I wouldn’t recommend EasyJet, simply because you would need to pay for any additional bags, any food and drinks you want on the flight, and have the stress of finding seats together if you are a family of 4. It's worse than Ryanair in my experience, as its punctuality is worse. Ryanair is more honest in its contempt for its passengers. You know from the beginning with them that you are in a war where your opponent will use every underhand trick in the book to inflate the price you pay.

This is the only way I can describe a company that have sold a holiday based on a description that does not match the Hotel. Every element from the time you get to the airport with EasyJet is aweful. The lines are unreal, the customer service personell treat you with contempt, and you will be charged a fee for everything they can possibly charge you for. Our flight was due to depart London Luton at 19.25 and arrive at belfast 20.35 we departed at 22.30 and arrived at 23.30 - the knock on effect was that we arrived at our final destination at 01.30am which spoilt the following day as we were extremely tired to actually enjoy our first day of holiday. we also have a 15 month old baby of which had suffered unrest from the delay, we had to keep him fed, watered and entertained for the duration of the delay. Exactly my own experience, only from Manchester to Copenhagen. Arrived two days late and absolutely no information from the staff about the delays. Bussed us to Stansted and stuck us in a manky hotel and fed us paupers' food (corned beef fritters and oven chips). Absolutely refused to honour the EU guidance about compensation. We were 100s of £ out of pocker because we'd pre-paid our hotel. The same thing happened the previous year in Portugal. I will do my utmost to avoid this airline in future.

“Been screwed another 80 euro by Easy jet !!!”

First, they annonce me 30 Euro (instead of 11euro) charge because my booking did not take into account the hold luggage. And then they charged me 50 euro for the second hand bag: a plastic bag with a wet towel from the morning shower that did not fit anyway in a packed suitcase.
