Has anyone experienced missing a flight through Easyjet's new non designated check in policy.As a family of five (including an eighteen month child) we queued for two hours at Alicante airport for a flight to Bristol. “Avoid this airplane at all cost!”

Be careful! the easyjet assistants can make you lost your flight if you complain against their policies or the high fees they charge. Easyjet was booked as part of our package deal. To keep costs down we chose to take one large suitcase per couple and each traveller the Easyjet allocated hand luggage allowance. We checked in online, so were able to ensure seats together, therefore once at airport all that was left to do was check in luggage. “Madeira Centro Benidorm”

We have been to the Madeira Centro Hotel some 5 years ago, but on this recent visit we have realized that the 4 star rating is not what this hotel should be - more like 3 star. “treated as beast”

I was in Geneva for a working trip, when I arrived to the airport my flight was cancelled. Easyjet forced us to take a taxi from the airport of Geneva and drive to France to sleep in Thonon (telling everyone that the taxi back was fully repaid). The Taxi took 1h30 to get to Thonon without any other transport options. Once I arrive in Thonon the hotel had not been booked, for me and for other people with other flights easyjet. “Refunds”

Recently had to cancel flights with easijet due to a death in the family, at the service reps advice I sent an email and a copy of relevant paperwork. Received a full refund for all four flights and a nice condolences letter within a week. Have flown with Easyjet for years, play by their rules and you will have a good flight. Generally find that it is the passengers boarding, mainly in Gatwick, that are the problem, even trying to queue jump a wheelchair passenger… Read Full Review

“RIP OFF....again”

I had an urgent need to book a flight from Tenerife to UK. Online I booked with Thomson but after submitting payment details, I was informed that the transaction had been "..unsuccessful at this time". Needing to fly the next day, I searched for other flights and found one with Easy Jet. I booked it. However, within minutes, another email arrived saying my FIRST booking was confirmed! Would have made sense to have called Thompson first to check on flights, there was a case of a full refund from them as they had sent an error message.

What's scandalous? I'm pretty sure you didn't even take the ticket which allows you to change the date or cancel.

The way I see it, thank them for giving you a partial refund. I wouldn't give you one.

Thing is you did book twice with two airlines. Most airlines will charge some form of cancellation fee. Had you called Thomson straight away you would not have had the problem. You may be computer savvy, but there are loads of idiots out there who do cause all sorts of problems. Companies have to deter them somehow. I wonder how many people try to cancel flights they booked incorrectly

“Don't alway believe what you see on TV!”

I was a little nervous about flying with Easyjet, due to watching a TV programme that made the staff look uncaring and at times very rude about their passengers. However the staff were friendly and profesional at all times, the aircraft was clean and looked almost new. “What a mistake to try them again after 15 years”

Bloody awful website, keep having to go back and start over. Seating- though this is now pre-bookable (which led me to try them again) the number of seats they cram in leaves no decent room EVEN if you book extra legroom. I wasn't the only one in trouble.I reckon their 'extra legroom' is about equal to most standard seats and definitely NOT suitable for anybody who is tall. I'm 195 cm tall and I can fit just fine in the standard seat. If there are any "extra legroom" seats, the flight attendants always announced it's possible to take them during the flight, for a fee. At least on the eight flights I've taken with this company.

But I suppose some people would like to sit in the pilot's seat for 29,99.

“UNACCEPTABLE policy of change names”

This company has an predatory policy in "Name Changes". Just read the article 8 (Name Changes) and you are going to understand. I was made a booking for 30 people, and the charge for each of them was about 230 euros. Two weeks before flight I had to make a change name for two people. you even state yourself that this is in thier Ts and Cs, so if you knew in advance, then why make the mistake, need to change names, and then blame them for charging you what they said they would BEFORE you booked!! Your fault.

“Overweight luggage ripoff!”

I had to pay $375 in overweight baggage fees to easy jet for myself and wife from Paris to Barcelona. They don't allow a personal bag larger than a purse. Also, they know that US airlines have a 50 pound limit. So they place their limit at 40 pounds including the total weight of checked baggage AND carry ons. “Out of date Passport”

I cannot praise easyjet enough for their help and understanding. On our way to greece, went through passport control etc, just about to board flight when attendant noticed my daughters passport was out of date. Our cases had to be taken off the aeroplane, delaying everyone (sorry), but staff were amazing.
