OK, IF sent me a letter to say that my credit card would be cancelled on 10 July. What I didn't realise was that it would totally dissappear from my online banking page. So, I now have no way of knowing how much I owe, and how I can pay it off. I emailled them to ask how I can pay off the balance, a ...

After being dumped by IF regarding ending the credit card offset facility I notice that they have the cheek to offer 0% credit card facilities for 9 months to customers who do not have any money with IF. Absolutely disgusting service.

This should have been offered to existing customers. Wouldn't ...

Well, we too were offered a mortgage in principle, we paid our £425 for the valuation and opening up the correct account but two months down the line they have been stringing us along because they couldn't comprehend that my husband was an IT contractor, they kept thinking he owned million pou ...

Like others I received a letter in the post yesterday from Intelligent Finance stating that as from the 8th July 2005 all customers with Visa credit cards are going to be "dumped".

The reason given is because of their system not being able to cope with the new chip & pin system. It is proposed th ...

After having a mortgage and savings with IF for a couple of years last autumn I decided to move my current account to make it easier to move money between accounts and to take further advantage of offsetting.

IF cocked up my current account transfer and a standing order for over £600 was pa ...

I see I'm not the only one to get incompetent service from if.com Intelligent Finance.
I should have known when my initial (substantial) deposit was credited to someone else's account. Since then several cheques have been lost or mis-posted.
I shan't be sorry to see the back of this 'bank'. ...

Very pleased with this service from Intelligent Finance, strongly recomended. I have attempted to do most of the functions on the Internet Banking web site with no problems at all and i'm no computer expert. Transfering money, setting up direct debits, paying lump sums of your mortgage, offsetting y ...

My mortgage was arranged through a broker who recommended IF. They seemed to offer a good deal with offset mortgage. A year down the line, I got married and wanted to change to a joint mortgage. They said we couldn't change to a joint morttgage, we would have to reapply, but they could only offer &p ...

We managed to get a mortgage with IF Intelligent Finance about 6 months ago. Last month we decided to get a fixed rate with Northern Rock, as it was cheaper. NR redeemed the mortgage with I.F. on the 8th June, however we'd already had June's payment come out on the 1st, about £450. A week late ...

6 months ago we applied for a mortgage through Intelligent Finance. The fellow was very helpful, explained everything and then told us we could have the mortgage - everything was credit checked and agreed. They sent us all the paperwork, we filled it out and sent it off. We then had to pay £3 ...
