I booked a round trip with viva holiday for may. Because of covid 19 this was cancelled. Contacted viva and they wanted to give me vouchers. Then we agree that i would get a full refund for the deposit. After many promisses the refund is not in my bank yet. They said it will take 8 to 12 weeks. It is now 22 weeks! They promise you everything,but do nothing. Not a very reliable company!!

Still waiting a refund for cancelled holiday to Norway in July. They finally agreed we were due a refund and several weeks later asked for bank details to repay, this was weeks ago but still waiting. Dreadful experience with this company who would have let us go to Norway knowing that the return flight had been cancelled, we would of ended up with no accommodation and no idea when and how we would get back to the UK. Fortunately we had checked with the airline but Viva were initially adamant there had been no change to the itinerary despite the airline contacting them and telling them some weeks before that there were no flights! Never again with this company, definitely not recommended.

Visit to Milan - flying to Malpensa airport Airport situated very long way from hotel and hotel not in city centre, no transport, very difficult to reach. Had to organise shuttle bus then metro as taxi would have been about 200 euros. Also hotel classed as 4* but more like 2* then transfer to Sirmione and flight back from Milan Bergamo (Verona much nearer airport!)I paid a supplement to change flight time from early morning to early afternoon, which was just as well as the journey to the airport took over 3 hours so we would have paid for a night in the hotel that we could not have spent. Also hotel again very far from old city with no reliable transport services either bus or taxi as only 7 taxi drivers available due to time of year. I would NOT book with Weekender breaks or Viva holidays again. Very misleading descriptions of hotels, locations etc

We have taken 4 holidays with Aviva and no complaints what so ever. Everything from hotel, transfers, accomodation were perfect. The staff at Aviva are extremely polite and nothing is to much trouble for them and if there is a particular area you want to stay in, they find the best hotel for your needs. Aviva go one step further to make your holiday the best they can

They are one of the most professional bunch of folks I have ever dealt with, I was just window shopping for a vacation online and came across with this website viva-holidays and was surprised to see a package to Iceland for 299pp. Honestly speaking I always wanted to see the northern light but couldn't really afford it as the flights itself cost somewhere around 500 pounds and that is why I quickly picked by phone and called them to check the availability and to my surprise I got what I was looking for flights, hotel, northern light tour, whale watching tour, ever thing for just 299/- Within 24hrs I received all my documents and I will be departing this 26th .. Fingers crossed :) End of the day I am in love with these guys will definitely book all my vacation with Viva Holidays and would definitely recommend to all my friends and family.

Had a memorable holiday to Vegas and Jamaica (Twin Centre). As per their website, it recommended couples tower isle and got a great price of £1899.00 pp for 10 nights during peak season. Except the flight between Vegas and Jamaica all other flights were direct and straightforward.

The communication throughout the booking process was excellent. I was given time to research about hotels which were offered to me, and the agent who I was dealing with called back at the times he said he would. Overall great service.

We were delighted with the great service provided to us by Viva holidays. It can be loathsome, having to speak to someone over the phone, however the staff member I dealt with was very helpful and a pleasure to converse with. We had a great holiday, a well-earned rest and would be more than happy to recommend this company to ALL.

We had a lovely sunny break in Agadir at the end of September 2013. We were recommended All Inclusive and it turned out to be good value for money. We also got a free child place at the hotel so had to pay only for the flight. I will be booking my next far away holiday with Viva.

We had our Egypt Twin Centre holiday to Cairo and Nile Cruise cancelled due to the unrest. I was really getting anxious but we got a call from Viva Holidays to provide some relief. They told us that due to Egypt Unrest the holiday has been cancelled and asked us for any recommendations. On the following day we again got a call back and were given a detailed holiday itinerary. We really liked the idea of holiday to Mauritus and the complimentary upgrade to half board. After the initial stress of the Egypt Unrest the holiday holiday was just too good and in the end turned out to be a brilliant option. Thank you Viva Holidays

We recently booked a New York and Antigua holiday with Viva holidays and were extremely impressed with the professional service they offered. Right from the moment I first enquired to the day when I actually confirmed this booking they were outstanding. At no point in time I received calls to pressurize and make a booking and whenever I called to make any changes I was always given help promptly and effectively. After the booking was complete I received the e-documents on the same day which was very quick. I am sure the holiday itself will be great and look forward to fly in December. I am very happy to recommend Viva Holiday to friends and family.

Our New York and Mexico holidays were absolutely fantastic. The NewYorker, Gran Bahia Principe Tulum and the Occidental Xcarat Hotels were all excellent. The flights were all very good as well. Thanks very much for your excellent communications and organisational skills in getting things sorted. The BA flight being cancelled at the last moment didn't help, but your help it getting us into another hotel and the nature you went about this was first rate. At some point we will be looking at another holiday and would definitely come back to you.

Normally it is a pain to write a review once I am back from a holiday but this time I have made sure that I do it as this 3 centre holiday to Vegas, LA and San Francisco was the one I will remember for ever. They helped us to select the best of hotels in all the destination. Although it took us 2 days to make a final decision, it was worth the money to go to the top hotels recommended (Luxor Las Vegas, Millennium Biltmore and Trition Hotel) by Mike. The options provided very unbiased and impartial. He also recommended to take all direct fligts. This cost us £50 pp more but believe me it is worth every penny. All in all this was the holiday experience of a life time and my sister and her boyfriend also have booked their 2 centre holiday to Vegas and Miami with Viva Holidays. I am a happy and satisfied customer and will use Viva Holidays whenever possible. Thank you viva Holidays.

New York and Vegas!!!!!! Enough said. Will go in details though... I and my mates booked our holiday to NY n Vegas, it was a trill experience! The hotels, travel plan and ofc the tour operator guy was very co-operative and accommodating, we were many to handle, for say but, things went smooth and everything was well organizzzzed! I still get jelled up when recall the fun we had and the ways things went... You guys have helped us choose the right plan! Will catch'em post christmas now, wont forget... ;)

Hi I was seeking information and reviews of viva holidays as I travelled with them in early november and had a pleasant experience. But prior to this I had not heard of Viva Holidays. I recently bought two last minute Groupon Vouchers to Reykjavik for my husband's 40th. Everything promised was delivered. The price we paid was very good and the hotel we stayed in was excellent. Everyone's experience is different. However I found mine to be a positive one. I would certainly use this company again for travel in the future. Many thanks, Anne

I booked a holiday via Groupon with Viva for a week ½ board in Corfu. The flights were acceptable but the transfer from the airport to the hotel had been 'overlooked' and having to call them on my mobile phone from outside the airport only to be told that I had to take a taxi and they would arrange return rather than collection was far from ideal! Anyway - got taxi from airport - got to hotel only to find that we hadn't got the 'sea view' room that we had paid £100 extra for and that the hotel was 'fully booked' and that we could not be moved. I decided to leave phoning Viva until I got back to the UK (as I had already ascertained that the hotel couldn't move me so what could they do? and also so that I could on a land line not my mobile) When I phoned upon my return (on a Friday)I was told that I should have phoned on the first day (although there was no way they could have moved us) but it would be processed but they wouldn't be able to phone me until Monday. I waited all day on Monday - no contact. Phoned on Tuesday and I was told that it had been referred to head office and that someone would contact me within 24 hours . I waited - no phone call. Phoned the following Monday (today) - told that the person I had requested was 'in a meeting and would phone me back as soon as he was available'. Two hours later still no contact. I'm still waiting for that phone call - I'll update this when I hear back - but I won't be holding my breath!!!

I and my wife are planning to book my trip to Crete next month. Thought of getting heads up and see what review centre has to say about them. Wasn't disappointed! I bet they work snap on grievance system because of the subject line you just mentioned. Because, they've refund your money irrespective of what review you wrote about them. I guess, I will be going with these guys. Will update here about my experience :)

Having not long returned from a multi centre holiday to Egypt with Viva Holidays, I am writing this review to express our delight. We were very pleased with the Cairo and Sharm Twin Centre Holiday with 3 nights in Cairo and 7 nights Sharm with All Inclusive. Thanks to Viva for providing best in class hotels and the transfers were very efficient as well. Hotel in Sharm was Sharm Grand Plaza and the Movenpick in Cairo. For £749 per person with all the transfers was exception value for money. I look forward to visit Egypt in Jan 2013 and needless to say, I would be booking it with Viva Holidays.

We recently came back from the 10 nights holiday to New York and Cancun during 1st couple of weeks in September 2012. For £1399 i thought it was excellent value for money. The hotel in New York was right in the centre of the things, the new yorker and the one in Cancun has a fantstic All Inclusive. The transfer pick up and drop was on time in New York and Cancun. I have recommended my friend and his partner and they will be travelling in November 2012. At the time of booking we received efficient service from Viva Holidays but I did not write a review then. I wanted to see if they are able to deliver what was promised. I have to say that we thouroughly enjoyed the holiday we booked with Viva holidays and they will be my travel company for the future as well.

Update - Tuesday,
didn't get call back at all so I phoned again - spoke to the original person who dealt with my complaint. He said that he had emailed the hotel and was still waiting for them but would chase again today.
He also said that my 'refund' would be confirmed by the end of the week -

Emailed dissatisfaction to Viva enquiries and copied in Groupon - got a phone call from Viva within 8 minutes - told that I needed to supply account details so that the refund could be actioned!!! - will wait for the outcome........

Success!! - My refund of £100 was in my account this morning.
Why it took 5 phone calls and an email is beyond me. I won't be consciously be using Viva again.
