“Booked & Paid for Private Room, Gave me Shared Bunk Room”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Crabtreeop75 on 05/10/2022

I will never go back to Agoda after the terrible customer experience I received after their error. I booked a private room in a hostel because I caught a cold and they put me in a shared room. When I called they said it isn't their fault the error was on the provider they used and there was nothing they could do about it because it is non-refundable, but they will open a ticket and will get back to me. I had to go and book another hotel on my own as they did not offer any resolution. Customer experience is awful, I had to call back multiple times the next day and the only thing is they can provide Agoda Cash which is useless when you pre-book all your hotels. After looking and checking on the internet I found out they had a guarantee they could book me in a comparable room which they did not offer. I will never use Agoda again, the only job they have to do is book the right room and they could not do that. The call centre is rude and lack customer service. In the future I will be booking directly with the hotels/hostels, when you get sick on your trip and they can't even get you the right bed the discount is not worth it. In the future I will only use Expedia.

As the acronym goes, Keep it simple stup$#@d. The app is easy to use, with discounts and additional perks. It also comes with transfers and taxes. So, it is a one-stop shop. Since, you can even add activities if you intend to in your desired destination. On the other hand, what i did not like about is the fast increase of cost if you don't grab the chance to get a discounted rate. You should be on top of your toes if there are discounts and grab it right away before you lose the discount. Initially, had hesitations on line booking due to phishing credit card details, is it legit, etc. But after using the app in my trip local and APAC region, had more confidence in purchasing through AGODDA.

“Nice rooms ”

★★★★★

written by Aussias on 12/07/2022

I have stay in two different rooms both with a pool access straight out of the room. nice and comfortable luxurious rooms. Located not to far from the beach and in a small village with traditional BBQ stalls and homes with random western bars up the road incase you need to talk to expats No fridge in any room that's a bit strange. Great pool. The restaurant serves great Philippine food, they serve Western food too but we didn't try that. No safe/lock box in the room for your items you wish to keep safe. No storage to hang your clothes in the room or a place to put your suit case Coffee making facilities but no coffee or tea supplied, strange. go down to the plenty Sari Sari stores they will love the extra business and its cheap

You must have created an Agoda account at some point in order to make a booking. Logon to that account using whatever email address you used to create it; go to My Account, Profile, and edit your email address there. You can reprint or resend your booking confirm from within your account by going to My Bookings.

Your question tells us nothing. How long was your original booking for and why did you only stay one night? Much more information is needed for us to give you a rational answer.
Report this content rifkhan619 Written on: 12/01/2021
I think this can only be dealt with the hotel unless Agoda says in the fine print that refunds can be done if you stay less. They won't refund you normally after you had started a stay as is common in any service but agree more information is needed to get the right answer.
Report this content PanchoTx Written on: 12/01/2021
You will need to explain your reason for requesting a refund. How long was the booking for? Did you leave prematurely and why? Additional info is needed to determine if a refund is possible & warranted.
Report this content scharles1402 Written on: 12/01/2021
Your question is very wide and dont specific further about your booking. We need to now how long is your booking and why do leave early? Then we can define your claim can be refund or not. Thanks
Report this content MACTENDERS Written on: 12/01/2021
MACTenders Dear Vnicevnice well it depends if you booked more than one night and there is a very important reason why you could not stay longer and paid with a credit card than there is a chance you can get money back or you might get a voucher. If there is another reason like I wanted to go stay in another place then probably not. Except if you can make an agreement with the place you stayed but then it is up to the hotel.best regards

I stayed for one night booking two rooms in Bexleyheath Marriott and charged for two nights for a stay on 25/7/19 and it is nearly 18 months and havn’t heard anything back.
Report this content BillfromFremantle Written on: 13/01/2021
I am not sure where Mukeshmk's answer comes into this, but assuming it is vnicevnice5 adding to his/her question, this still begs the question of whether or not you booked two rooms for one night each and were charged for two rooms at two nights each or not. We pay Agoda bookings upfront, so surely you would have seen how much you were being charged long before your actual stay and could have corrected it then. If you were charged two room nights, then that is correct for two rooms for one night each.

Hi, I suggest get in touch with Agoda - website agoda.com, or by telephone (international charges will apply) You have to explain why you stayed for 1 night only, and how many days were you booked, present your confirmation booking number and all details needed. That is the only time you will know IF THEY WILL REFUND your money. There is no assurance that they will but at least you will get their answer from the details I provided

Can only repeat what was said by the 2 replies am seeing now. ( both submitted :12/01/2021). WHY are you seeking a refund, WHY did you stay just one night , how long HAD you booked for? How and why do you expect a common sense reply to your complaint, after only providing such basic information, which describes nothing of what occurred, and now causes you to seek a refund.

Usually if you contact the hotel and explain your situation you can have your situation resolved.
Report this content dhalltoyo Written on: 14/01/2021
If there was some extenuating circumstance such as a medical issue, uncleanness of the facility, unexpected travel changes by your airline, etc. you can present the facts to Agoda and see if they will act on your behalf. For example, I booked a room and no mention was made during the booking that I would have to leave a deposit upon arrival. The counter clerk would not permit us to occupy the room unless we paid the deposit. I didn't want to use cash, so the clerk said she could just take my credit card info as a deposit. What she failed to explain is that she was putting a hold on the full amount of the booking thus reducing my card spending limit. I explained the incident to Agoda and the very next morning the hotel apologized and removed the hold on my credit card. I don't know your particular situation, but if you have a valid reason for only staying one night, present clear and concise information. Remember that information is power. Wishing well in all your trvels.
Report this content OliviaSylviaInciong Written on: 14/01/2021
If you booked with the hotel, say for 3 days yet stayed for only one night, it is possible to get a refund for the two nights if the reason for cancelling the booking for the two nights is valid. My husband and I booked in a hotel for one night but on our way, our car broke down. I immediately called the hotel and informed them of our situation. The hotel was kind enough to cancel our booking and did not charge us . I think it is always the decision of the hotel and your agreement with them upon booking.
Report this content Robbiel2005 Written on: 16/01/2021
Hi, without any more information about how long you made a booking for i.e. how many nights, it is a little difficult to give an informed answer. I can perhaps suggest a few options. If you booked only one night and stayed only night then there's no way to get a refund. However if you booked for, let's say two nights but only stayed one night, things look better. If you cut short your booking becuase of some serious issue, either on your side i.e. you had to return home for some family or work situation or on the hotel's side i.e.problems with the room or the country you were staying in perhaps due to the pandemic or severe weather conditions, then you could ask for reimbursement of the unstayed nights. I do hope this helps. Thank you, Robbiel2005

The email is a confirmation that you paid the hotel. You can show also the email confirmation to the hotel where you booked. alternatively, when you want to have a copy of the voucher, you can log in to your account and print it.

There are some possible situations happened here: 1. The hotel did not received the confirmation yet. You can just show the email confirmation from Agoda and it is acceptable by hotel all the time (in my experience, at least). After booked, it needs about half hour up to one hour before confirmation sent i to our Inbox. (In my case, last minute book while on the way to the hotel) 2. It might happened for Pay at the Hotel option (I do not like this option since it makes things more complex—more steps); This feature is more complicated that it seems since as user that familiar with previous booking page, it is not too clear when Agoda start to have this featire (I have realy-really-really bad experience with customer service of Indonesia when I ask to get clarification from Agoda— instead He gets angry, throw bad words and hang up on me). So, paid in full maybe means you have your booked confirmed but it is still need to pay at hotel site. 3. Assumed it is human error. Not sure if the whole booking processe are automatic system generated since it needs some time to get confirmation email to customer and longer time to hotel. You may call customer service. Agoda has good CS call anf it helpfull for me almost all the time (exception for the above case that never happened to me in any other CS call center)
Report this content MickhailLee Written on: 06/03/2018
Email confirmation is by Agoda with booking ID. This is not hotel confirmation number. Go to the hotel web or service center and drop your Agoda booking ID. The hotel will reply with hotel confirmation and your hotel booking number and sometime with password. Now you can directly contact hotel for other services; airport transfer etc, and manage your booking direct. With hotel confirmation number, this is your secondary confirmation for ease of mind! If so required!

When you get the email acknowledgement of your payment that is enough to prove your booking. I have booked this way many times in several countries and it has always been enough. I was worried like you the first time,so I rang the hotel to confirm and everything was OK.

I suggest to forward the mail received with booking ID to the Agoda Team Support and ask for change the name. If you remember very well, when you make the booking you are asked if the reservation is on your own name or for someone else. So, I am very sure they will be very kind and change the dates because obviously you can fill your own data of payment card (all details requested by Agoda).

Agoda sends a confirmation email for every booking. In the email there is a box (link) calls "Manage My Booking". The link should take you to a site where there is a link called "send e-receipt". Click it.

Did you show the hotel the voucher from Agoda that stated "breakfast included?" It happened once to me, but after I showed them the voucher, they honor me the breakfast. Sometimes the system is error or doesn't link, all you have to do is to show the voucher. But most of the time, I had no problem with agoda.

if you go to manage my bookings option on thier site you will find the details of your booking, or if you have your voucher that says breakfast was included and proof that you paid for breakfast like on your bill or the receipt that has breakfast charges on it. you can call or email agoda customer service they can verify anything that was done on thier site and checked your booking. and if you have receipt they will ask for a copy of it. another thing might be that "free" breakfast sometimes is usually the "buffet" part so if you ordered from the menu you would have to pay for it but here also the waiter/waitress should inform you it wasnt part of you "free" breakfast. agoda customer service is usually very good and responsive...however..thier website like many travel industry website is sometimes too much for the ordinary person... like using thier vouchers(refunds) or coupons its very difficult to locate these and the process and might be 3 pages onward in the process...and unlike other airlines and hotels if there is a problem because of "small print"(printed somewhere on site.Agoda steps up and deals with the customer problem very understandingly and is not like airline customer services like philippines air or cebu pacific who just read paragraphs of the manuals and dont do anything for the customer unless it involves getting more money from the customer..... I wonder how much money is made in the travel industry by fees and processes that are simple mistakes by a customer trying to save money by using travel sites and miss the fine print extra charges or misleading ads... like free cancellation within 24 hours but fails to say that its only for domestic flights only

I travelled many of the countries for last 7 years when I booked Hotels by Agoda. Even I helped my relatives and friends to book through my Agoda account and credit card payment. I never faced such problem. You have to confirm whether you have booked Hotel with breakfast or not while check in, that's all. Carefully check that the room or Hotel you are booking has the option 'with breakfast' or not. Many hotels may not offer free Breakfast and at the same time good hotels offer free or paid breakfast options. It depends on your booking condition at the beginning.

I have to agree with the other answers. I checked my last 2 Agoda booked hotel rooms and the receipts clearly stated 'Breakfast Included'. I did not experience any problems at either hotel and was just given a breakfast voucher when I checked in. My advice would be to query or confirm the free breakfast when checking in and show the staff the booking receipt in case of any dispute. Of course, if they refuse to honour the free breakfast you would have to take it up with Agoda but it shouldn't come to that. Mostly these disputes are because of mis-understanding where the hotel has both options and the check-in staff were not aware that you had taken the included breakfast option.

if in case something happened again because of different agreement or miss communication between Agoda and Hotel, i think the best thing to do is to call their customer service hotline, though i know that that could be a problem especially if you're in a different continent/region where your mobile phone has no service, but that is still the best option if you want an immediate resolution. you could also email them though time is of essence. and such a situation had happened to us, we are from asia and we went to Florence, Italy and i dunno what happened with our booking but it turned out it passed thru Booking.com and it was an AirBnB booking and since it was already late in the evening, we could not be attended to anymore and we have nowhere to stay to! I called up Agoda, fortunately one of my companion's mobile phone service works! though, we were transferred to another place, this time a real hotel already, we had a long discussion over the phone and that i really had to insist that they look for a replacement for us to stay to. and that is after we had stayed already in the street for almost an hour feeling very cold and very tired because we just arrived from the airport :(

Always save your confirmation of your room items such as where it states a Free Breakfast included.. Also if the advertisement of the hotel states free breakfast then you shouldn't of had to pay as long as you have something that says that on your confirmation from Agoda. You should always keep an extra confirmation just in case anything arises on your bill that states it is "FREE" cause hotels will try and make you pay if you don't have it in writing, so always have an extra confirmation just in case they take the original one from you and you forget to ask for it back, you always have an extra in your suitcase!!

hi, i believe you will find that the contract is between you and the hotel and not agoda they are only middlemen if you booked with the understanding you will have breakfast included as advertised then you should have received that. i would lean towards there being a breakdown in communication between agoda and hotel however it is not uncommon for some hotels to try it on and charge you again you should have provided the proof that you paid for breakfast as part of your booking before agreeing to pay. try and take it up with agoda and see how you fair. best of luck with it

When I made my choice of hotel via Agoda , on the website it said Breakfast was included and free cancellation. When I made the booking and paid the money it came back no cancellation and no breakfast included. I challenged Agoda with this and they said it was not available with the heavy discount I got on the room. I really don't mind too much because I save over $200 AU per night for 10 nights on the room.

Probably you didnt tell them about the free breakfast once you checked in. You just said you’ve booked a lot of hotels, so you know you gotta asked these common things, like where is the elevator, or the restaurant. What time is breakfast or lunch. What’s the wifi password, that sort of things. Because if you did, then they should have given you a breakfast voucher/pass. If not, then you really did not have free breakfast with your booking and you can’t really blame this with Agoda since you’ve already checked out and paid. Be careful next time.

I have booked a few hotels via Agoda when I went to Myanmar in 2012. It was convenient because at the time that was the only way to advance book and pay hotels, other hotels I could only pay cash in USD upon arrival. Not sure if that has changed in the meantime.

They have hotels around the world and very cheaper price this time, even 80% less...the answer is yes! Comparing with Booking.com, I find on Agoda, for Asian country, the most cheaper rates.
Report this content josephineong Written on: 06/01/2018
Definitely and cheaper than walk-in rate. I travel to Mandalay often so it gives you the rate even your local friends can't beat. If you sign up as member you can earn $$ for you to offset yr next booking and get insider/secret deals on top of offer rate. Agoda does not charge booking fees and it allows you to earn Krisflyer miles if you fly Singapore Airlines or SilkAir frequently. You can compare Agoda rate with Trivago and see whose offer is better. Always do a little research before sticking to one site. And if you know the hotel website, better still, you can compare if the hotel has better offer. Usually they are higher than Agoda.

When I traveled to CHina, i booked all my stays through AGoda and I found that I was paying a much lower rate than many of the other guests. Also there are many millions of Chinese who travel on weekends to see other parts of their beautiful country so I cannot understand why rates would necessarily be cheaper on weekends. Either way, I would rather have a ood rate for my complete stay than pay two different rates. In my experience, that usually turns out to be more expensive.

I did not know there was a difference on the weekend. But I have always had really good savings overall that it would not have mattered to me if there was a difference for one or two days.

No. Agoda only provides electronic PDF receipt and PDF Booking Voucher for giving to the hotel. Hotel doesn’t provide any receipt for the Agoda booking amount as you’ll not be paying that to the hotel. If you incur any extra expenses at the hotel, then hotel will give you a receipt for the extra expenses only. I had made many bookings through Agoda.com for hotel stays worldwide in the past and currently have hotel booking for future stay done through them. I never experienced any problem with hotel check-in or stay with Agoda.com bookings.

Agoda emails you copies in PDF, you only need to print it out and you're done. Why would you bother going there to get it. Agoda is your source / company where you purchased the accommodation, so they are the ones responsible to provide receipt. Hope this helps.

Sorry, I don't quite understand your question. You paid to Agoda for staying at a hotel in Singapore. Agoda will send you an e-receipt which you can print or just show on your mobile device upon arrival at the hotel as a proof of booking and payment. Subsequently, when you have finished your stay at the hotel, the hotel will issue you with a receipt of your entire stay including any extra services you may have enjoyed at the hotel and paid for to the hotel. That receipt is the final receipt - which you can use for claiming from your company if you are on a business trip. I hope this answers what you were trying to ask?

Hi. I've found that you can usually get a receipt from the hotel if you ask. It won't be from Agoda but on the hotels own stationary instead. I have a smartphone and always keep the Agoda message on there as a reference. One hotel a year or 2 ago asked for a hardcopy but after I said how? I'm on the road and no printer in my back pocket so they said that I could forward them the email and they would print it themselves. Technology moves on and no one has asked since.. Best wishes, Bill

Agoda.com only issue electronic receipt but if you want an original receipt you inquire one when you finish your stay. On your checkout date, you may ask the hotel reception to issue you an original receipt for your stay and they will give you one.

By right, printed e-receipt can be regarded as an legal receipt. But you’ll get the most exact answer if you can call AGODA derectly.
Report this content Charon666 Written on: 05/12/2017
It is up to the place where you stayed whether to provide a paper receipt while you're there. This is a normal courtesy. However, if you paid the money through Agoda rather than directly to the place you stayed, then the latter might not offer a "receipt." But they should provide a "paid in full" bill, with your name, showing the amount paid. This should serve the purpose of a receipt. You cannot expect Agoda itself to mail you a paper receipt. You have your credit card or bank statement as proof of payment to Agoda.
Report this content Accesscc Written on: 05/12/2017
I think it will depend on the hotel. They may be able to confirm your booking if you need it for work or Tax purposes, but as the other person says below, you are paying Agoda and what the hotel receives from Agoda will be less than what you paid because Agoda take a commission or booking fee. I have stayed in several places which I booked through Agoda and have always received an electronic copy of my receipt. which has been enough for all of my needs.
Report this content bubuxaxa Written on: 05/12/2017

I have used Agoda on several occasions. The receipt you get from Agoda is electronic but it is up to the individual hotel to give you a paper receipt for the amount you pay. I usually ask for a paper receipt and I've never had any problems getting one. On occasion when I haven't asked for one, the hotel has provided one anyway. I've received receipts from hostels and hotels so I don't think it's a matter of which accommodation you chose.

On your checking out the reception will give you a TAX INVOICE, ask for it if they don't, which includes a breakdown of all the charges i.e. daily rental for so many days, GST and the like, your name and address also. It will also show at the end that you have already paid with a credit card or whatever when you booked and that you owe nothing. Use this as the official receipt. Have fun in Singapore in plenty of ways. Theo V.

Mr Maktumhusen, If you have completed the process up to the stage of having a booking number, you will have the option of printing out your hotel voucher, which is a confirmation of your booking. This is enough as proof of your booking being confirmed, and the hotel will lodge you in a room upon presenting this voucher when you will be checking-in. Now, thanks to your disclosing the vital information about you have selected the 'book now pay later' option, you will agree that since you have not yet made any payment, no receipt can be issued, right? It is only AFTER you make the payment at the hotel (after or before your stay, depending on the hotel policy) that a receipt will be issued to you by the hotel. Hope to have been of help, - AGG

Maktumhusen, You selected option book now pay later. Very clearly, you haven't been charged and haven't made any payment yet. So, how can you expect for a receipt to be issued to you ? Please ask yourself, if you were the hotel owner, and someone only booked the room in your hotel in advance, without making payment or being charged, would you issue him/her a receipt ? A receipt is issued upon payment being made. A receipt is proof of payment. You have't made payment, so how can you demand receipt for it ? Please be sensible. Be thankful that you have been allowed to make a booking in advance, without payment. Now others who want to make that booking, and want to make payment in advance, cannot do so, because of you. What if you decide to cancel your booking later, and those who wanted it earlier won't know about it's availability ? What about the hotel owner who would have lost potential cash-paying customers ? I never imagined that someone would ask for a receipt without having made any payment. What is more you want to talk about this on the internet with other travellers. Shockingly ridiculous ! Also, can you go to a restaurant, order a meal, and demand for the receipt, before making payment for it ? You will be given a bill for it, and have to pay it before being given a receipt. By the way, where are you from ? How old are you ? Is this your first time making a booking like this ?

Hello, to get your receipt from Agoda.com is simple just log on your account if you are an account holder and click on your current or past booking, then once your booking details appear you see on the left side you will see " Send Receipt" once you click it, the particular receipt of your booking will be send to the email which you registered for that booking. But you are not an Agoda.com account holder, call Agoda.com customer service center and provide them with your booking details then ask them for the receipt of that particular booking and they will send it to the email associated to that booking. I trust that this information will be useful to you

Or call the hotel that Agoda made reservations with and ask if you may change the guest name. I have done that, and called the hotel and the representative help me with no problem.

Based on my experience they will not allow to change name in our confirmed booking. However AGODA will help you to inform the hotel on the changes and put remarks on the "NEW" name in the remarks column. You can then show the remarks in AGODA hotel voucher to reservation upon check-in.

when you make a reservation, there is an option under Your Information, ticked to option "I'm not staying in any of the rooms on this booking. I'm making this booking for someone else" then you will be directed to complete the guest name who will stay at reservation you had made. if you already made a reservation, usually I call the hotel and ask them, can they allow this exception or no. if no, then I cancel and make new reservation. but most of hotel allow this as long as your friend bring the voucher hotel from Agoda.

SStananan, This is not a problem, really, since you were the one who made the booking, as the main guest. If you booked a room, it shouldn't a problem at all. The best people to help you are Agoda personnel. Call them on the local number given on the voucher, and tell the receiver of your call your problem. They are very helpful in solving your booking problems, in the best way they can. Alternatively, you could call the hotel direct and speak to them. Otherwise, if you are still in the free-cancellation period, use it. Then re-book. However, the rate may not be the same. Or, re-book at another place.

Log on to your account at the Agoda website. Go to Bookings, find your hotel, and click on Manage Booking. When that page opens, you can click a button to Send Receipt.

It's either you ask for a physical receipts from over the counter at the hotel or you can print out the receipt issued by Agoda itself. Alternatively, contact the hotel and request from them to issue and post it to you. You can Google for their contact numbers.

1- In general, Agoda.Com is going to the worest ... I make a strong criticism to it from a few days in spite of: I am v. old member and made a tens of reservations. 2- I can't exactly understand your question ... But, if you want an invoice to present it to your company to return your money? ... The previous mentioned answers are enough like: a- Print attached PDF to your e-mail (This is vouecher not invoice but enough to claim) b- Log in to your account and follow until option of resend invoice again c- ... 3- If you mean: You can't print attached PDF (Like me)or need other thing ... You can try to call or send a message from Customer Support page: Maybe they will respond to you. 4- If you fail to find accurate solution enough to you: You can make a complain to the third party (Like: Customer Protective Center or ...).

Hi Abdul, First you need to sign-in to your Agoda account, and then click your account name (top-right corner) to access some features. Select "Bookings", then your booked hotels will be displayed. Click "Manage Booking" on the Hotel you want the receipt to be sent. Then the hotel details will be displayed. Scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll find "For My Records" item, expand "Send My Receipt". Then you just need to fill in your name, email address, postal address, and finally submit it to Agoda. That's all. Hope it Helps.

Agoda will confirm your booking to your email address with a pdf receipt attached that lists your Booking ID, details of the hotel, days booked, services provided (such as breakfast included or not included), total amount paid by you and your payment method (Visa/AmEx/etc). You should receive confirmation within 5 minutes of making your booking. The hotel will need to see this pdf receipt because they will also have a copy to confirm that it is your booking. On check out, the hotel might also give you a receipt that lists your room as paid via Agoda. Good luck

Report this content vietnamexperience Written on: 16/12/2014
If you haven't received a reply to your email address, something didn't work. Did you receive a notice at the end of your booking saying that confirmation had been sent to your email account? If the booking was successful, you should have had money deducted from your account within 24 hours. If you don't have a booking reference number, I would try to book again and then contact Agoda if you receive notification of a double up in the booking. Can you contact the service provider (e.g, hotel) directly to see if there is a booking in your name for those dates? Changing the name of the client booking the room is not difficult if you book again, but you might not receive Agoda points if the client using the service is not the same as the person booking the service. Good luck, MJ

Dear, if u have made the booking online as per the procedure Agoda should have replied immediately along with a printable booking receipt with all ur details. The money would have also been charged from ur credit card. The system is fair and transparent. U should call on the help line or send them a mail along with the booking details. If they say they dont have ur booking, which i think is the case, u should immediately make ur new booking. I during one of my bookings for Dubai by mistake made booking twice and on calling the help line the amount deducted from my credit card was reimbursed to my account, although it took few days which they did inform me before hand. I LOVE AGODA AS THEY HAVE THE BEST PRICES. Best of luck.

You will need to know if by changing the dates, yr hotel rates would be changed. Sometimes the special rate is for a minimum stay of 7 days. If you change to any day lesser than a week, you may end up paying a higher rate. You try by going to the email from Agoda and change it or by calling. I had similar experience this year Jan before I toured NZ.

Agoda will send a booking confirmation to your email address, you just need to print or save to you phone and show to hotel upon checkin.

After you finished with your booking, Agoda will send u the voucher with barcode to your email (check the attachment, check your junkmail if u dont receibe it in your inbox). You just have to show the voucher to the hotel's reception.

Simply download and print the booking confirmation email sent by agoda right after you make paid booking. Agoda is just simply superb and user friendly. No hassle and worry-free service.

Hi The booking confirmation came as an email from Agoda. You can also ring or email the hotel to see if the reservation was made.
Report this content WorldExperience Written on: 17/06/2014
It will be sent to your email address... Check your spam mail. Print it off and take it to your hotel as most place ask for it when you check in. If you arrive at the hotel, 1.They may not have facilities for YOU to print it there. 2. They will not print it for you OR they will charge you. 3. If they have facilities they will charge you per page AND will charge you for a colour copy even though there are only a couple of dots of colour in the AGODA logo.

You can find the coupon in the e-mail that Agoda has sent you with the booking information if your booking has been accepted. If you have registered at the webiste with your e-mail address and password you can find the coupons of your reservations at your personal page.

If you do misplace coupon you can still check in using your passport and credit card you used for booking. I have done this many times.

When you booked with Agoda, you will receive an email titled Confirmation for Booking ID #XXXXXX. Print this out and bring it to the hotel.

I would email and call Agoda, I have just started using them and did call and they were quite helpful. They have a contact us section with email facility or have a phone number. Hope you get your money back!

I'm sorry to hear your situation, please go to Agodas contact page on their website.  If this does not help let's see what other steps we can do. Hope this helps.

Are you referring to the one in Yunnan Province? There are hotels with same names in different part of China. If this is the one and you are sure it has closed, then let Agoda know immediately. Agoda is efficient and answers emails rather quickly.

If you call Agoda call centre they will assist you and most likely facilitate a refund.
Report this content saikatray Written on: 13/05/2014
Not too complicated really, & I see several options already presented by others. Just contact agoda. They are here to do business n not to charge money wrongfully.. I find their speed of response quite good. Don't worry. You will get your money back n you will also help agoda to update their database on this hotel.

Go to your Agoda account (if you are not a member yet, sign up). Go to 'Manage Booking' and you can already email your concern by hitting the 24/7 Customer Support button. There is also a listed contact number but there is a cost for calling. AGODA normally acts on their clients' email request and reverses charges after investigating the problem. Hope this help and you'll get your money back soon.

They have a "contact us" section on the website. I have never encountered any problem in dealing with them. They are part of Priceline so that is another way in.

"There is no way to contact them" - What do you mean by it ? Agoda is world known website, everybody knows their contact. If something like this happened, just write agoda without any hesitation. Agoda will immediately refund your money without any delay. There is no doubt in it. Their service is awesome and great. Lot of times I have got their fantastic service from them immediately after I write to them. So write to them and just wait for some moment. You will get immediate feedback from them. Agoda will never deceive you. Trust me.

Google "Agoda contact", and you will see their contact number...the main office is in the Phillippines, so time differences will apply from wherever you are calling, check world time zones as they operate from 8.30am (Phillippines time). Also on FAQ Customer Support you can email your query. Once you have established contact they are very good and helpful and once did a refund for me without any problem when they debited my credit card when it was a pay later hotel arrangement. Just be sure you read all the booking conditions for any Agoda booking before confirming. I have rung from Australia and had no problem.

You should call Agoda to the numbers provided in your hotel confirmation voucher. Or/and call them and email them to the number and email provided on their website in the "refund policy" under "policies."
Report this content Nicole69 Written on: 15/05/2014
hi, i'm sure Agoda will be able to be either in touch with the hotel or refund your payment. If the hotel is not operating anymore, Agoda won't pay them and therefore be able to refund you, eventually with a small admin cost. Contact them on their websit giving them all the details; they will reply and it's unsual that a hotel is not operating anymore and it's on their site. good luck

As the other 2 users said contact them by email or phone.. They are quite helpful in the 2 times in 7 years I have had to contact themm

The fastest way is to ck the contact number of Kings Green Hotel and call them to confirm if they have received yr booking immediately. From then on you can take the next course of action. Hope everything is fine.
Report this content Jinfong Written on: 28/03/2014
When you booked with Agoda you would have a reply email stating yr total stay and amount and what mode of payment. Print this out or forward to the hotel if they claim no booking.
Report this content shessuchajamie Written on: 28/03/2014
As soon as you've confirmed your booking, you should've automatically recieved an email from agoda about your stay/itenerary.
Report this content AshMoreal Written on: 01/04/2014
payment made? if YES, then...for sure it's confirmed. But, if you still insist on confirmation, get back to Agoda and request voucher 're-send' to your email. Wish you safe and pleasant journey ahead

Standard room rate is always shown per night. If you choose more than one night as stay then it would show the total price for the nights you have chosen.

If it's total then it is for 14 days, do the math. They have a breakdown of the total price in the invoice column. You can see per night charges for weekdays and weekends and so on. Hope this helps.

This price is per night.
Report this content Nicole69 Written on: 25/02/2014
the price on agoda is always per night and you have to add the tax & service charge, which depends on country (read the details in the room information). In Indonesia often you must add a total of 21% on top of the rate. Once you choose how many rooms and you click book it, you will see the final price. You wont be charged until you give your credit card details.
Report this content gita73 Written on: 25/02/2014
please click and check the rate for one night first,if you have doubts compare the per night price on other websites, which is roughly the same. Then key in for the number of days of stay and compare the pricing which shud be a lot more than the one night stay.Keep a calculator nearby to do the math, and make sure you have converted the currency rates.

Agoda are usually show per room/per night and without add in hotel tax and charges (the charge is usually 10%) U can try to select the room you want and proceed it (dont enter the credit card details first), the actual price you need to pay will show on the right hand side of the column. If you have any voucher code, you can enter it at the price summary column as well, the system will auto deduct accoringdly.
