“Delivery does not mean dispatch!”

Spent several hundred pounds online and they took the money out of my account immediately. Delivery is supposed to take 5-7 days, but of course that's when the goods are actually dispatched. “Absolutely worst customer service”

Ordered a dress from Zara way over a week ago now and I have yet to even receive an email stating that it has been dispatched. Frustrating as the money was taken from my account and transferred to Zara the same day I purchased the order! To add to my irritation, the item I ordered was in the sale, and has further reduced and now sold out online, meaning I could not exchange the item now if I wanted to, which I would have been capable of doing if it had been dispatched in the estimated time… Read Full Review

“worst customer service ever”

My son received an expensive pair of Zara pants as a Christmas gift. They didn't fit so I tried to return them. The store wouldn't take them, even though they had only been tried on once, had the original tags, and mail return information. They said I needed the original invoice. “5 days later and my order still hasn't been dispatched...”

I placed an order online for one pair of boots with Zara.com on 28/12/12. It was confirmed by email and yet 5 days later, it still hasn't been dispatched. I have emailed 3 times and have not had a single reply despite promising to put in an official complaint and write online reviews of my experience. Had my phone not been out of action i would have called their contact center sooner. It has been 11 days since I placed the order and I received a dispatch confirmation at midday today. It should arrive tomorrow apparently but from the experiences other people have had with Zara's courier I don't hold out much hope. Even if it does arrive, 9 working days is a disgusting amount of time to wait for one pair of boots and from now on ill only ever shop in store with them. My advice to you would be wait 5 working days since you placed the order and then contact them - although they weren't able to contact the warehouse for me when i rang them so they aren't much help (and I spoke to a manager). Also, you have to ring several times because apparently they're always busy (with this sort of customer service its no surprise). If you need your item asap you'd be better off ringing your local store and asking them to put it aside for you to buy if they have it (and then of course cancel the online order on your Zara account). From my experience, its very unlikely you'll get it in good time from buying online. Good luck.

“NEVER AGAIN!!!!!”

I ordered over £200 worth of clothes for my children from Zara and paid special delivery. I received no confirmation email and did not receive any of the items either. My bank had informed me that the said amount has left my account into zaras account and gave me a reference code! I emailed Zara 5 times!!! No response! I was reluctant to call their 0871 number!! I Bought a gift card online, recieved it in a reasonble amount of time, ok so far , my daughter went to the store to redeem it and couldn't use it. Took 45 minutes to traghten it out. After 10 days my item was still not delivered, it had never even left the warehouse, although the money was taken out of my bank account. I ordered on black friday 6 tiebacks for curtains. I am trom holland btw. Today 14 december 2012 i recieved my order. When i opened the box 3 of the 6 tiebacks were broken!! That means gemstones everywhere over the box. Sent an angry email and they better respond to it! Horrible, Will never order there again. “My clothes did not arrive!”

“Appauling Customer Service”

I received an incomplete order. Only one of my two coats was delivered. I called Zara directly consistently over a week, no one called back and after emailing 5 times- I only received a call after I threatened leaving a review online. “Worst online shopping experince i've ever had”

Interesting to read all these other complaints, just goes to show how terrible they really are, the online store service is an absolute SHAMBLES. I made 2 separate orders & wanted to return both boxes (1 of the white tops had pen marks on it!), it took 4 days (6 inc wkend) to receive an e-mail to schedule a collection which in its self is shocking. “Ongoing Delivery Nightmare”

“No problems”

I'm the total opposite of some of the reviews on here as I've ordered a few items online and not had any problems at all. I usually only order online when it's an item that's sold out everywhere and they will email you to let you know it's in stock, so then I order it and hey presto it's delivered. I just ordered a coat on Sunday and it was delivered on Tuesday so it only took 2 days and delivery was free as the item was over £50… Read Full Review
