I have only had my box less than a week and it has played up from day one. The slow response of the controls means when you press a button you have to wait to see if it is going to respond or not, when pressing some buttons the unit thinks you have pressed another i.e. press back up and no message a ...

We had our Sky + digibox replaced 4 times with each one having a different fault. The last replacement broke down within an hour of the engineer replacing it, so I decided to cancel my Sky + account. It's a great idea in theory but in practise, it doesn't work. Either the hardware or the software ...

I have been a happy Sky+ customer for 14 months, and I have been with Sky for almost 10 years. The hard drive on my Sky+ box now has a well known fault (well known to Sky anyway) making it impossible to record, and I have lost all the recorded programmes I have accumulated over the last 14 months. N ...

Sky+ is a great idea, but it does not seem to have all it's teething problems sorted out as yet. We opted for Sky+, though we had to pay for the box and an extra £10 per month, even though we were already Sky customers (I think we should have had some kind of loyalty discount). The reason ...

Ever since I saw Sky+ at a mates house I wanted it, so I invested in it and it was everything and more I wanted it to be. Over the past 3 or 4 months it has started to act up, no big deal to start with, just reset the box and away she went. Recently with the latest software update the Amstrad boxe ...

After using Sky+ succesfully for 18 months I found that I had accumulated a lot of 'Dead space' on the units hard drive - I had 24% of stored programs but found I only had 30 % of free space? - After speaking to a young lady at Sky they provided me with the following fix that you may find useful. ...

My Sky+ digital TV box always freezing up, and to make it work one has to disconnect the mains. The worst feature is having to ring Sky who are on a 0870 tel number, and on one session it cost £3:28. Quick fix fails so it costs more money to ring. Eventually we have an engineer coming out! Mir ...

I ordered Sky+ multi-room at the beginning of December. The engineer came on the 8th February as expected. He said he needed 2 men to do the job. He said the next available time was the 15th of March!!

The Sky+ Box worked excellently for the first twelve months after that things started going wrong, the programs that had been recorded were of very poor quality and often without sound, after many many phone calls and resets I finally had to pay for an engineer visit and so far no problems. Hi all, I have spoken with a Sky engineer today at my home and you know what to do if your Sky+ is acting up? 1. Try a major software download reset, unplug your box then press and hold the 'back up' button on the front, plug your box back in while holding the button for over 10 seconds until a blac ...
