“Teething problems at first but fantastic after!”

Hello there, I received an e-mail asking me to write a review on this website regarding my purchase of an ASUS ROG gaming laptop ordered from SaveOnLaptops. This is my review of the product I ordered AND the customer service I received after. I intentionally left writing this review for a few months to let the machine have its test runs and to see how it performed; both in terms of how it played the games I played and the durability of the machine, and its performance. At first, I had a few teething problems playing WoW on this machine. This is primarily the reason I bought it, but this wasn't due to hardware or machine fault. As per usual with all new computers, they all need driver updates and windows updates to make sure they're operating with the latest software and drivers. After performing several updates throughout the initial week after receiving my laptop, it now plays most games I have on high/ultra with a good consistent 50/60 FPS. As for World of Warcraft exclusively, it can run this game with NO issues at all, around a good 6 or 7 settings. Given that I never really had any real problems with the machine, I never had to contact CS at SaveOnLaptops, but during my initial order I was given confirmation of when my product would be delivered, a tracking number, and of course it arrived securely packaged and fine out of the box. Very good service, and I would deal of them again in the future. ---SaveOnLaptops Customer

“Product not as described”

Recently bought Lenovo B50-10 laptop which the spec said included a VGA port. When received, laptop didn't have the VGA port. Rang them up and was told product had been mis-listed. Asked if they could give me VGA adaptor for free but was told that since they don't stock them I would have to return laptop, so had to buy my own since I wanted to keep laptop. Have also heard from a colleague that they had bought another Lenovo model which as also mis-listed and had to return it. Save on Laptops - PLEASE SORT OUT YOUR LISTINGS TO AVOID DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMERS!

“Damaged box”

My collet arrived with a hole in the main box and another little one in the laptop box, the laptop looks ok, but i dont know how it works, im waiting a bit for the laptop to acomodate to the room temp. I hope everthing will be fine, because im a bit upset about the hole

Had a wishlist of components in mind. When this laptop came up on this site - for the price they are charging- I thought there was a catch. There isn't. It's just fantastic value for money. “bad experience...”

i bought HP Pavilion 17-g131na. My first problem was that courier company left my laptop to another house 150 meters away (i live at No 83 and they left it at No 19)!!! They never knocked my door and i received an email informing me that my parcel has been delivered to No 19. The lady at that house told me that she was really amazed why the driver knocked her door asking her to leave the parcel there. My second problem was with my brand new laptop. It has windows 10 installed but for a strange reason i wasn't able to download anything (after some research i found out that is very common problem with windows edge)......Took me 5 hours to reset windows and now everything is fine. At both cases i don't/can't blame shop ofc thats why i would recommend to a friend, but it was a really bad experience.....

I purchased my HP Pavillion beats audio laptop 10 days ago and it doesn't work properly. Buttons are odd, Internet never responds and although I bought the antivirus software it pop ups every time I click a link. How do I return for a fully working one? Bearing in mind on Tuesday my 14 day return is up?

I think by law you now have 30 days to return an item. what ever you do don't return as faulty, return it as unwanted or you will not get your moneyback. if faulty they will just fobb you off then try and charge you for the privalige and then even more to rereturn it to you

I have contacted them before about my invoice. My problem was that I didn't have a copy of my insurance form, which I was to send back to Samsung and Save on Laptops could not provide me with another form, which is when it all wrong. I bought insurance from them so I should be supplied with what I need to register my insurance but they wouldn't send me a copy so Save on Laptops has been paid £50 by me for nothing!Now I am looking for my DVD to get my Windows product key and not one so as I see from the internet that they are supposed to email me this information which I also don't have. Why haven't I got none of these essential items? Angry customer.

Their customer service is appalling. Their manner with customers is appalling. There is little you can do except don't use them again and spread the word.
