We were charged with fraud after a cheque we paid in was (unknown to us) counterfeit. This was before Christmas. I was a Halifax Current Account customer for over three years, during this time their service deteriorated to an intolerable level. Sometimes the Halifax Bank's interest rates are better than other banks. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired with this bank, so I took my money elsewhere
