Applied for a credit card, card was refused, no one could say why, In the end a supervisor said to me it was probably because I cleared my credit card every month and wouldn't have built up a credit history.....

They sent all my details to another person (fortunately honest as returned the mail unopened to the bank). They the ...

Next one was due, didn't have enough so they took it out later in the month.
    I shot down t ...

Recently I went to the bank to withdraw £9's and was told that they longer give coins over the counter. Can you imagine a BANK saying that?

They change their rules every five minutes. Sometimes your cheque will clear in 7 days, sometimes 10 and they charge you before they know that the cheq ...

Do not get a Halifax Current Account if you are not prepared to accept that you will be charged to death unless you are on top of your bank account balance at all times! Even going a couple of pounds overdrawn at any time during a day (even at weekends when banks are closed) will lumber you with a ...

I have banked with the Halifax for 5 years, and all I can say is it is the worst bank I have ever known. They have hammered my account with charges for the last year - nearly £900 pounds! I have made enquires, and I have decided to proceed with a claim for these charges in the small claims co ...

I applied online and was accepted, and I was given all the details; sort ...
