Been a Halifax customer for nearly 10 years with no problems, until now! I require an original bank statement dated within the last 3 months for proof of income and outgoings for a loan (with another organisation). The last statement sent by Halifax is nearly 6 months old as my account was set up wi ...

I paid in £20 into each account to open it up. I waited a month and I still did not have a cheque book or debit card, so I called them and the ...

I have banked with these guys for 27yrs. Recently they changed my address on my account for me - I haven't moved in over 5 yrs! They then accused me of doing it as you have to sign. They sent all my details to another person (fortunately honest as returned the mail unopened to the bank). They the ...

Pop into your local branch of Halifax with 6 bags of sorted, counted and correct change. Then wait for them to refuse your legal tender. Yes, that's right you are GIVING them money, that they will refuse......... unbelievable.

Next one was due, didn't have enough so they took it out later in the month. I shot down t ...

Recently I went to the bank to withdraw £9's and was told that they longer give coins over the counter. Can you imagine a BANK saying that? They change their rules every five minutes. Sometimes your cheque will clear in 7 days, sometimes 10 and they charge you before they know that the cheq ...
