    Barclays Business Bank Account make transferring money difficult unless you have your telephone pin or your PinSentry gadget on you all the time. Overall the online system is poor, looks and feels dated and generally behind the market. Will be switching my account shortly!

    I recently set up a business account with Barclays, it took ages to set up the paperwork and even longer to get online access. As I was a business start up I have few funds going through the account at the moment but this would have changed, they still took £9.95 a month in fees!.

    Barclays Online banking is really awful. Cannot see statements more than 6 weeks back. They have now outsourced the security and given all customers a silly calculator to access their online banking. Of course this is easier and cheaper for them than to actually do something about their systems. You ...

    I've only been in business for 9 months and pay between 6 - 8k into Barclays a month. Had an issue where a company didn't pay my invoices for two months and at the same time I needed to get a replacement vehicle - I spoke to the customer services and was asked "did you not have a business plan?".

    I had a payment being transferred to my account from the Ukraine in US$. The company confirmed the transfer and I telephone Barclays every day for three weeks to be told the money had not been recieved.     Barclays website is very easy to use and is ideal for a small company e.g one person can do everything.
    You can set up Standing orders and do transfers as you would expect.

    Sign in is simple but secure and you don't have to remember 4 different Passwords
