“Wrong ticket issued”

The travel agent issued the wrong fare ticket and charging me a fortune to amend my booking (manager, or at least he said his name was like that, was raising voice; threatening to stop the conversation). Staff always rude and it takes ages to get through, the phone can be cut down. Had very stressful experience with them. Will never use them again.

“Frustratingly inadequate service!”

Unfortunately had to cancel a flight to USA last minute due to a death in the family. The company showed no concern whatsoever. Was told I could possibly rebook if I dd so within time frame of my holiday. I found another flight etc and communicated this back very quickly. Have had no response to my email. Waited a few days and phoned. Spoke to someone who said my request would be dealt with that evening and I would get a response the next day. HAVE HEARD NOTHING SINCE!! Who are these unsympathetic people I am dealing with? Certainly not professionals

Do not book through this company. They will take your money and not provide you an e-ticket. Worst customer service i have ever experienced. I was told they would call me back, never received a call back. They will not answer the phone to me now. How have they not been shut down?

“Terrible customer services”

This is the worst booking experience I have ever encountered in my life.They re-divert you to different people, informing me accounts and customer services don't work together, which is absolutely nonsense. When you contact them, they say accounts only reachable by e-mail. After 4pm, they sing a different tune 'accounts not available at this time'. This company is just full of con-artist with zero customer service. They hang up on customer, put customer on hold for ages without any proper explanation and are just plain rude over the phone. Do not deal with this company. Avoid any bookings with them unless you want to throw money into the sea or doing charity.

“Absolutely appalling ”

What absolute shambles - the customer service is utterly terrible. I have never met such a useless bunch of twits in my life. I booked my flights through a comparison website and ended up getting lumped with these monkeys. I rang initially because like previous customer reviews - I have been asked to verify who I am!! What a joke. I declined and so they said I still have to do it. Customer service advisors are so rude and speak Pidgeon English. Fraudulent company.

“AVOID AT ALL COST”

Having booked a flight with this company in December, I then received an e-mail asking me to complete a form with my credit card details to complete the booking. Obviously for valid reasons, I refused as this is non-secure and anybody could use my details later on. I was informed the booking will not proceed without the details. Few days later, 500 pounds was taken from my bank account despite them telling lies. Having already booked my flight with another company, I requested for a refund. Rang them multiple times since beginning of December. Was told their accounts department will process the refund and I will get an e-mail confirming the refund. Up until now, I have rang them at least 10 times. No e-mails, no refunds. This group of idiots are complete LIARS. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. HORRIBLE, ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICES.

“STAY AWAY TRULY TERRIBLE”

On the same day I booked my ticket, I received an email from them stating due to a technical error my flight needs to be changed and I had to pay an additional fee to switch to another flight, not sure if this is intentional or what because I can see other people on here encountered the same experience. After I paid, I had to wait for almost a month to get my ticket. However, during this time I had to call them constantly to confirm if my payment went through because I only received my initial invoice, the additional fee I paid them was not invoiced. Their excuse did not change through out the time, apparently it is because their finance team has not yet updated my invoice. The only good thing I would say is their customer service as these people knew how to assure their clients but almost never actually delivery anything. Not okay at all, and please avoid this agency if you can. So much time wasted.

“Literally Terrible”

I bought a pretty expensive ticket to fly from Hong Kong to Manchester through Holiday Mood ltd and was told to await a confirmation email within the next 48 hours. Firstly, they did not send me a confirmation email. I then receive said confirmation email, asking me to confirm (confirm my confirmation? That’s a bit ridiculous, don’t you think?) by sending photographic evidence. I do. I hold up my end of the bargain. Still, no etickets. So I called them, who assured me I will receive my etickets within 48 hours. I am not sure what you define as an hour, but 2 weeks is not 48 hours (it’s actually somewhere closer to 336 hours). I then call to say I will cancel the flight unless you email me my etickets. I think this is reasonable, seeing as they did not hold up their end of the contract. This is now 4 days after the agent told me I would have the email. I hear nothing from holiday mood ltd. So I cancelled my booking, as I said I would do, on 28th November - 4 days after I paid for the tickets. I cancelled on the 28th November, they sent me a confirmation email on 8th December. Thy then told me they decided to take “to cancel” to mean “send unwanted and no longer needed etickets in 12 days and disallow her refund”. They are truly awful company and I would not ever recommend anyone book with them again!

“Extremely unhelpful! Avoid them”

Booked flights online via cheap flights. However no confirmation came until the following morning. The email only stated that 'Unfortunately, due to a technical error your booking(s) has not been processed. To my surprise I got an invoice later that they had taken money from my Acc. When I rang them to get a refund as I desperately had to travel and book with another airline I was told it will take 3-10days. The manager was extremely unhelpful and blamed me for buying the ticket on line. I wondered why do they advertise themselves online. Please avoid them at costs as they are living in the past and have poor customer service. I will be taking my issue further as I strongly feel they should not be conducting busses in the UK.

“Avoid Like The Plague”

As the title says, avoid like the plague! Attempted to book flights on 31/10/16: 1st attempt to book flights failed and their site didn't submit the booking request at all and having received no e-mail, assumed (incorrectly in hindsight) that i would have to refill the booking form and resend 2nd attempt went through fine, but this time i received an e-mail to state that the debit card i used was foreign and that i would need to get in touch to proceed further. I did query how/why my card was foreign but chose not to provided new details as i no longer wanted to book through this company. Fast forward 2 weeks later and miraculously it appears they managed to confirm my card as being UK registered as during these 2 weeks, they have processed the payment for my booking and have, on the evening of 16/11/16, sent me a booking confirmation e-mail. I have e-mailed and called them and advised that i no longer want the flights and have requested they cancel asap!

“Unhelpful and inflexible”

I found this company extremely unhelpful when a problem arose due to their security system. They were not able to complete my booking even though they had taken my money. I am still awaiting a refund as I was forced to cancel the booking. What a waste of time.

Found these guys on Momondo and didn't bother checking reviews beforehand and went ahead and booked tickets. Thought something was up when I got a confirmation email but no e-tickets so checked the reviews here and freaked out. KLM confirmed that the booking had been made but HolidayMood hadn't paid them yet so freaked out even more. This was quite late at night so I couldn't contact them, and instead read more reviews which made me think I had lost £500. Waited it out the next morning when I got an email asking for some sensitive documents.y bank advised me not to send them, and to ask for a refund. Turns out my money was authorised to be removed but they hadn't taken it yet. Long story short, when I phoned them up to ask what was up, they asked for the documents I wasn't willing to send (passport/bank statement for proof of address). Dude was extremely rude over the phone but from prior reading I was recording the call. Told him this and it immediately caught his attention. Told him not to remove the money from holding and that if they do, I want a either the tickets I purchased immediately, or a full refund and threatened a bank investigation (bank said they'd do that if I purchased something and didn't get the goods). Fast forward today and money's back in my account. While everything about HolidayMood seems extremely dodgy, there's a part of me that wonders if they actually needed a proof of address to verify the purchase in order to give me my tickets, but I'm not ever going to risk it. Stick with trusted sites if you don't want the worry or hassle I had. Tl;dr bought from their website, didn't get tickets, threatened them, got my money back.

“Please dont use them”

We bboked a flight with them and when they wanted too many details of the credit card holder we cancelled and were told (several times) that we would receive our refund "by the end of the week" It has now been a month and all I get when I phone up is put on hold until the line drops off. I get passed to different people and it has now become obvious that I will have to go down a legal route to get my £500 back These people are trickster (not allowed to use the obvious word!) artists I emplore you not to use them and to tell all your friends and family to spread the word. They need putting out of business ASAP

“Europe tour”

We went Europe tour with holiday mood.it was unorganized from day one.if u from Midland think twice about it. Cuz people who organised trip they don't inform u if any changes . In this trip they look only their family members. They was so rude with Midlands people . They arrange deluxe coaches for their self and Hormel for b,ham peoples. Never try to know problems. ....but all countries was very nice should see u .....but never ever go with holidays mood.

“Europe tour was amazing!”

Just returned from the Europe trip and i am already having holiday blues. I travelled in a family party of 13. For the price we paid the holiday was over and above my expections from the hotels to the meals and especially the tours which were included. On behalf of my party i would like to thank Romy Paji for organising the trip and really going out his way in making us feel comfortable during our stay. We got to experience some amazing places. The highlight for us all had to be Switzerland and Mount Titlis...mmesmerising views which will stay with us forever. “dodgy, lair, rude and clueless clowns , Please never...”

I booked my tickets with these jokers 8 weeks before my holiday, i kept calling them to find out what was happening as i wasn't able to choose seat or meal or make any changes to my booking through Emirates's website, every time they kept telling me that the tickets are booked and there is nothing to worry about, 2 weeks before my holiday they called saying the the connecting flight was not operating and i found out that they were lying as i sent somebody to their head office and i was told that they are operating and i confirmed that with a couple of other agents in the uk, they called me and offered me an alternative with 10 days difference to my original dates and an increase in fare too. I refused that and told them that I will speak to my solicitor regarding this as they ruined my holidays the person on the phone got really angry and said he would book any tickets for me now as i threatened them by telling them that i will speak to my solicitor. 4 days later i called them to find out why my money was still held by them as soon as the person picked up my phone he started shouting that he won't help me and he doesn't want to talk to me, i got angry and told him that i will go to their office and sort him out he asked to come and he will be waiting for me. when i got there the coward guy didn't even want to come out to face me. so they send a lady to speak to me and they refunded my money straight away. these guys are a bunch of jokers they lie and they rude please don't trust them, i am shocked that people like this are allowed to run a travel agency in the UK they give me and my family alot of stress.

“Bunch of Jokers”

May I just add my voice to the collection of negative reviews posted on here, following my own experience booking flights with these jokers. Everything seemed OK until it came to check-in online, and I discovered to my complete surprise that I had been booked on a completely different set of outbound flights (12 hours earlier) to what was on my booking confirmation and e-ticket! As it was a travel agent booking, the airline were unable to modify it, and once I rang the company, it became very apparent that there was no one there who was able to take responsibility and help me. I was therefore forced to change my travel arrangements at very short notice so I didn't miss the flights, and also had to fork out for an extra night's hotel accommodation due to my earlier arrival time. Had I done the online check-in at a later time, or checked in at the airport, then I wouldn't have been able to travel at all! Subsequent phone calls to this organisation to try to get compensation for the inconvenience caused by this blunder proved a waste of time....everyone I spoke to just seemed to pass the buck to someone else, and were unwilling to put me through to someone higher up who could address my complaint. When I finally did speak to a senior supervisor, they refused to offer any meaningful compensation (like a flight upgrade or a monetary refund) and instead just offered a voucher to redeem against any future bookings through them! After I made it explicitly clear that this was not acceptable, since I didn't intend to use their services again, we had an animated discussion about whether by taking the flights I had in fact accepted their T&Cs (which I pointed out they had failed to abide by themselves in booking me onto a completely different set of flights without subsequently informing me!). I then informed him that I would be taking further action, at which point he refused to speak with me any further. As they are *not* a member of ABTA (why am I not surprised?), I have reported them to Trading Standards via the Citizens Advice Hotline. Save yourselves a lot of time, inconvenience and expense and avoid them like the plague. Moral of the story? Probably best to book direct with the airline and avoid agents altogether!
