I agree with most of the other recent comments here: the quality of service from TSOHOST has collapsed recently. In addition to this, I've discovered a serious flaw with their email mailbox password security: it appears that only the first 8 digits of any password are checked! My Dad's email account was repeatedly hacked by spammers despite numerous, complex password changes. However, I was only changing the last digits of his password, the first 8 remained the same and so the spammers could carry on logging into his account! TSO support have confirmed my findings but despite asking them to fix it almost two weeks ago, the flaw is still present. Since their user forums have been shut down, I'm posting this review here to try and warn their other long-suffering customers. Please spread the word to anyone else you know who might be using TSOHOST!

Where do I start- floorless. Having ran a start up SMB that now has a collection of fast growing Wordpress sites, consuming more and more traffic / data, with not a huge amount of technical background myself, these guys are absolutely 10/10. I don't know how on earth they have picked up any poor reviews, because the service we've had with them has been second to none. Initially switched our shared hosting to them as our old host was very poor, slow and overloaded. Instantly found site performance more than triple, and we've been using their shared reseller hosting for over a year now - really, so happy and even with large, heavy loaded Wordpress sites it manages OK. Support are fast to respond and more importantly, genuinely know what they're talking about (which is a nice change to my current host for another project). Having massive problems with another hosting provider for our VPS, so this morning have started the ball rolling to get TSOhost to support us there now too. They might not be the cheapest on the market (although I feel it's reasonably priced), but with hosting you get what you pay for, and I really can't recommend them enough. If you want a site for £1.00 p/m and don't mind having it drop out every minute, with poor support and overloaded servers then try those types of hosts. If your website being online is important to you, and you want to build your site with a host that actually knows how to look after you, and isn't just reselling hosting from elsewhere, then TSO host are definitely the right ones for you. Highly recommended, keep up the great service!

What a joke TSO Host has become. Not only are the support staff inept at answering simple basic questions relating to custom DNS settings but today their support website displayed the following: Bandwidth Limit Exceeded The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later. What a joke! When a hosting company doesn't pay it's own hosting bills, the above is what happens! Bandwidth exceeded. Whilst the speed of the service itself is pretty good, it is let down badly by the support centre staff and dreadful support channels including the forum and YouTube channel which only hosts a handful of support videos.

After having moved around from one US based web hosting company to another over the last few years, I think I may have found a permanent home with TSO. I like the fact that they do not promote "Unlimited" bandwidth or storage. There is NO SUCH animal in today's market. Their prices are very competitive and when I delivered my request to migrate my sites, they jumped right on it. All I had to do was to point my DNS to their servers and I was neatly tucked away in my new home. My page load times are a lot quicker now. If you are looking for a new home for your site(s), you need look no further than TSOHOST. A great bunch indeed!

I have always looked for reliable web hosting, having been a previous customer of Unlimited Web Hosting, I was not satisfied with the constant server outages and disconnections. My clients were not satisfied with this service and it was beginning to have an impact on my sales. After deciding to choose Tsohost, I would never look back, I get super quick server speeds and 100% uptime. The customer service is also second to none! They don't oversell but instead offer fair packages that are guaranteed and will not lead to unfair suspension! Thank you TSO!

I've been using TSOhost for three years now and they have never let me down. They simply do what they promise, if you want to cancel or upgrade something, it's hassle free unlike some hosting companies. On the odd occasion I have had to ring them up for some advice they have been very helpful and know what they are talking about. I would recommend them to anyone who is running their own website as they do what they say with the minimum of fuss.

Having been with another web host for over 6 years I had no idea how good it should have been. TSO do everything right, their services are reliable, support is fast and they have put the client first in every way. Their web interfaces for both the PHP and Windows servers are second to none. Not just a deployed admin package, their interface has been custom built with the client in mind and allows you to do everything you should ever need, from dynamically changing your application pool from shared to isolated, changing .NET and PHP versions and much much more. This is how it should be done, and they're cheap to boot. Full marks!!

Fast servers, excellent up-time, easy to use control panel and above all amazing customer service and technical support. Have been with TSO for a couple of years and whilst they occasionally have an outage they are always quick to inform you and appear to be honest and upfront about the reason and what they will do to stop it happening again. Technical support has always been excellent with fast responses even at 4am! I would recommend them to all.

Having a couple of sites hosted with tsohost for around twelve months, I just wish I had used this company earlier. My sites aren't 'mission critical' nor are they for the generation of revenue. They are best described as 'hobby sites'. Nevertheless, the available features and customer support (not that I've needed much) are the same as are afforded to larger corporate-type sites. So I guess my message is ...if you operate a personal or 'hobby' website, don't be tempted by hosts offering webspace for peanuts. TSOHost is very reasonably priced and it's difficult to put a value on the excellent customer relation ethos they operate. Cannot rate TSOHost highly enough.

I have had support ticket responses at 3a.m. On the odd occasion services are unavailable, TSO always keep you posted which is more than can be said for other companies. We have 3 dedicated servers and use their clustered solution, all of which I highly recommend. Backups are taken nightly on the cluster and you are able to restore from your control panel any file within the cluster. MySQL database files are dumped in your root directory at 12pm, again meaning you have easy access to live files.

I'm very surprised to see tsohost haven't got more reviews here, as they are frankly a huge breath of fresh air amongst web hosts. I've been using them for close to 6 years now and they haven't put a foot wrong for me. I've moved ~70% of our work sites to them and purchased a VPS from them too. Their supoort, is to be blunt, the best I've encountered. In nearly 6 years now I've not had to wait more than 10 minutes for a reply to my email support enquiries. They are very knowledgeable and always get an issues fixed quickly - as a web developer, having someone with experitise when you have an issue is a lifesaver, total kudos to them. I've even been working very late at 2am and even, to my surprise, got replies from Darren in their support team. When they do have issues (as any up front company do) they are very fast to update their status page, forums and twitter account and always post full RFO's - which is much appreciated. Unless something drastic ever happened, I honestly can't see myself ever needing to use another host. To me, they represent a total breath of frsh air, amongst a sea of naff hosts - there are many about. Wouldn't hesitate for one moment in recommending them.

After discovering that some "hosting review sites" are actually owned and run by a hosting site, and always give themselves 100% excellence in every aspect, I have been extremely wary about believing any reviews, and usually read them with a pinch of salt.

I did check out the reviews for Tsohost.co.uk and, although there are not that many, the overall image was of a very respectable hosting company.

I started off by creating a new site and hosting it with Tsohost, and was pleasantly surprised with all the resources available via Cpanel, Fantastico etc.

I have since moved another site to this hosting company and again I am very pleasantly surprised with the quality and support, at such low costs.

One problem I had with this transferred site was that I could not get a Perl script to run, as it had run without problem at its previous location. I asked support for their help, and got a reply within a few minutes, asking for more details of where the script was located.

After providing the details, they informed me that I needed to modify the .htaccess file to allow html files to process CGI scripts. As it has been years since I last did this, I forgot all about this elementary task. Not only did the support tell me what the problem was, but they also modified the .htaccess file for me also! And all within 10 minutes of me sending a support request. Can you beat that for excellence!

I have others sites hosted with 1&1, 123-reg, UK2, to name a few, and NONE of them ever gave anything like this support.

So I thoroughly recommend Tsohost.co.uk.
